Agree. I can’t imagine City letting him go for 20m. It wouldn’t look good, especially considering how much we paid for him.

If there is no chance of shifting Otamendi I can see this happening, but otherwise it looks unlikely with us only having 2 CBs definitely in the team next season.

If Garcia had stayed I could have seen it happening, but not now, and not until we sign another CB at the very least.

I think we'll listen to sensible offers for him but still remain open minded about whether we think he can recapture his old form with us. Two years ago he was an automatic starter for England and he seemed like a possible future captain after Vinny retired. Seems a long way off that now.
