If I remember tolmie said his wages at City would be on par with KDB and Sterlings new deals, so my guess 350 k, 18 mill / year. presuming that’s over the 5 years inc NYC years. Thats 90 mill. He reckoned 2% of cfg was worth 180 mill. So total £270 mill. 54 million / year. Not sure how the rest is made up, if there is more, unless it’s personal sponsorships and image rights.
When they can whip out a record number of Ballon d'Ors, I'm sure the club will think about it.Whilst I like the fact that City are prepared to be innovative in order to secure the services of the world's best player I do wonder about some possible consequences of offering such a deal.
What happens if we are in for other players in the future and their agents push for a similar arrangement.
Also how do the De Bruynes, the Sterlings and the rest feel about another player getting a share of the CFG?
Tier 1?

1% of 4.8 billion valuation would only net 48million. He’d probably get somewhere around 750k a week? There’s no way we give him like 5% of the CFG.
If it’s a share option with shares vesting annually (20% each year) with an annual option to sell & ultimate exit obligation to sell ‘em back to CFG at the agreed pricing basis giving Messi the ‘proper value’ then this is such a smart way.
The shares can be a different class of share too ... no voting rights etc but even if not a 5% shareholding in a private company is pretty much worthless especially if CFG retain pre-emption rights which they will.
Trust me I’m a recovering accountant.
haha, sadly as a nation that led the way in jet aviation in the 50s and 60s we no longer seem able to make our own planes. we contribute engines etc but cant make our own planes.

And i have one year and hope to go back, off you pop you arrogant shit, he is nineteen and thinks he can say to pep i am not going to renew and still get to stay here, disappointed in his comments today , thinks he can grace us with his presence so he can play with messi for a season, fuck offWhat angers me most is that the kid had the audacity to say "i will not renew" and talking like its an achievement. WFT!
your knowledge is greater than mine. I knew we still had a decent sized aviation aerospace industry but didnt know it was that big.Apart from the tempest stealth or phenom jet ? Plus our aerospace industry is the second largest in the world I think - it’s actually not too shabby.....

Eric Garcia: "I'm here [Spain national team] because of #ManCity and the confidence they gave me. It has been a very good year although it did not end in the #UCL as we expected."If he didn't can we all pretend he did to help with some peoples sense of righteous indignation?
"and i hope to return"Eric Garcia: "Barça? I told #ManCity that I was not renewing, but I still have one season left with them and I hope to return." [via
