Phil Foden to leave England camp

2 young lads away from home killing time in hotel rooms, the temptations are going to be there.
I hope he learns from this that to go to the top he’s going to have to live squeeky clean.
The media are going to hound him now and
I can’t see Pep being happy with this either it could put him back 12 months in his progression this.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that he posted a picture of himself on Instagram in a £250 t-shirt. And then there was the Gucci birthday cake with all the £50 notes on it.

The cake was over two years ago for his eighteenth, no? And I think you might be out of touch with the youth if you're paying much attention to an expensive branded t-shirt. That's not really an exclusive thing at this point. Half the lads I used to work with wore more expensive clothing than that on their days off and some of them were only part time. I think it's a bit of a vulgar offshoot of the grime scene becoming so commercialised.

Anyway, I'm not saying he has grown out of it (I think it's pretty obvious that he's not going to become another Zabaleta type) but the examples you gave don't really hold up.

Why is it a temptation to shag a bird/pull a bird/bring a girl back to your hotel, while you are waiting to play or have just played your first game for England?

Even the thickest of the thick would surely understand breaking the rules on your debut is not going to go down well and as for trying to keep anything secret nowadays, good luck with that.

Utter stupidity.

It's also inevitably deployed by people with limited vocabularies.
