Girly Marcus probably didn’t look very gangsta whilst meekly handing over all his possessions when he got jacked in the hood. Can’t condone what happened but when millionaire footballers try to “keep it real” by hanging out in dodgy places they get what’s coming to em imo
He's a 20 year old lad. I'm sure most of us did a lot worse things at his age than meeting up with a girl in a hotel. Regardless of covid, look how many people meet up now in normal society, pubs and restaurants are open. He probably just didn't believe there was any real risk at his age.
Jammy bastard!!!Ha ha very good, retired now mate so sat at home posting replies.
Unless they sell the story then they are just kids hooking up,it is wrong to brand them as anything else not to mention sexist
He probably won't have one when he gets homeI doubt his Mrs will see it that way...
Sexism on BM? Well I never, Kaz. Perish the thought, eh?Unless they sell the story then they are just kids hooking up,it is wrong to brand them as anything else not to mention sexist
A fair pointTo be fair, he probably didn’t buy himself the cake. More than likely someone’s else’s bad taste.
Erm....not a ridiculous comparison at all fella. Social media maybe the difference, but humans are still humans & will always make mistakes or do things they shouldn’t.Phil wasn't around in the "good old days" when players did what they want with whomever they wanted and never got found out so it's a ridiculous comparison to make. He knows the importance of the restrictions, they are the same whether he is with a City squad or with England. Agree it's down to him on whether he learns from it or not...it's his life and his career that's at stake.
I have no problem with how much Foden gets paid. My worry is that this whole episode will affect his performance on the field. He will be hammered in the media now and the pressure that creates can be horrific. I think it will damage City, at least in the short-term, and that will hurt the fans. This get's me ie, it seem ok for Rugby players too act like twats "well Rugby boys well be Rugby boy !
Yet Football players are meant to be saint.
Also Phil hasn't got any responsibility to me as a fan , the only thing I want from him, is for him to play his heart out on the pitch in a blue shirt .
Also I couldn't care less how much he gets paid, if he's well paid the club must think he deserves it !
I don't know anything about the Foden's personally but I would say it's slightly too cynical to make that assumption from the off (even for my cynical liking).............His other half probably thinks the same as she thought when she got up the duff just as his career was taking off - ker-ching!
We don't know the facts but if he played a key part in bringing those lasses back then I don't agree with what he has done and I'm not defending him.
Like it not not, footballers and WAGs are completely on a different level to us plebs and most tend to lack moral fibre. I don't understand the delusion that they are all role models.
