Koeman apparently wants to sign Salah and has made him Barça main main transfer target. However Barca are short of money. Could the Messi move still be on for a cash plus player deal given they are also interested Garcia??
That stunt by Bartomeu may have just been a ploy to make sure Messi didn’t leave for free. He may be prepared to cut a deal if he can replace Messi with Salah...

The diapers arent going to facilitate them losing Salah and us getting Messi.
 
They are reporting in Spain that Bartomeu is going to ask Messi to take a pay cut and they are having another meeting about it this week.
 
For the league, it'd be great if Suarez was involved in swap deal for Salah with cash that Barca fund via nominal Messi fee with City discounted via Garcia transfer at our value, and then Ronaldo goes back to the rags. That'd be box office especially with Chelsea's business. All of which will never happen.

Liverpool wouldn't take Suarez on a free. His legs have gone, he can't play for Barcelona let alone Klopps footabll.

Juventus suit him perfectly, they've already developed to play slowly for Ronaldo and the build up is slower in Italy.

To be honest I think Klopp is a smart cookie and wouldn't allow them to sign that kind of player (over-the-hill)

If Messi would generate a massive income for us which would make it worth signing him then losing 100 million by keeping him another year is probably a tiny dent in the revenue he'll bring in for them this year.

He’s not a #9 which is what was needed and as an inverted left winger he takes minutes from Ansu

Bartomeu and lack of sporting plan consistently laid bare
