There’s another verse:
Your mum’s on the game
And your dad’s in the nick
You can’t get a job cos you’re too fucking thick
In your Liverpool slums.
Fuckin execute the bastard.....!When the red red Robin goes bob bob bobbin along ...

I know this is a touchy subject but the thread is called 'old songs' and we did used to sing them.I cringe the Munich songs posted on here. They should be left in the past. Sir Matt Busby played 204 times for us, and like it or not he is a thread in the tapestry of MCFC. Yet some find it amusing to mock a tragedy and a former player and managerial legend.
Sad really I think.
If you're standing on a corner with a red scarf round your neck
City boys will come and get yer
and we''ll break your fuckin neck
Sung to the 70s Liver Birds theme tune IIRC.If you're standing on a corner with a red scarf round your neck

To rob maccy D's across the road, or even Mary D's down the road?; )We can see ya sneaking out
I was there and sang all those songs. But then I developed a brain and so did most other blues, and I'm glad they died a death on the terraces. Munich songs and Busby songs should be brushed under the carpet and stay there IMO.I know this is a touchy subject but the thread is called 'old songs' and we did used to sing them.
Brushing it under the carpet doesn't change that.
