Rodri is the single most overrated player at the club.

Loses every single battle on the pitch, positionally poor, switches off regularly, zero pace or strength, poor in the challenge. Can't think of one thing he does particularly well besides playing if safe sideways constantly, and the occasional pass.

Really fucking frustrating. Not fit to lace Fernadinho's boots.

I thought he played well today, made some crucial interceptions towards the end when they threatened to break through. He was very often alone with the other 2 midfielders not being able to keep up with Leeds' pace. De Bruyne was physically not there today, and Foden got so much better when he was put in that Left fw position.
i think we didn't give Leeds enough credit. They are one of the best ballplaying teams we have faced
 
Just what is it with our players that no sooner do they take the lead in a game then they think the opposition by default have lost and will just give up?

That flawed thinking has probably already lost us this title and frankly I cannot see any change in our fortunes until Guardiola leaves. And when you do go Pep, please take that complete clown Mendy with you.
 
Can we stop now please begging pep to sign a new deal, he needs to earn a new deal. We are Manchester City he is not bigger then the club and most managers would give their right arm to manage us with our resources.
 
Can't believe why many are blaming Pep. The players certainly put in the effort. We don't have any striker, and 2 of our other forwards were Torres and Foden.
 
Wtf happened to the interplay between our front three? All of them are just head down dribble merchants these days. Combine that and the loss of silva, we can’t keep hold of the ball well enough. Unless we turn things around rapid we are getting nowhere near the title this year.
 
Heads went after Lyon. Has to be said i think our players thought they were winning it last season. That Lyon defeat may have hit badly
 
People don’t realize, we might be looking at a Leeds that reminds a lot of Leicester in 15/16. They played incredibly well, and a fully fit Liverpool were minutes away drawing against them. This is not any random team, I was very very impressed. There’s a reason Pep has so much respect for Bielsa.

Again, people are too negative. The season just started and if we play like today, we will beat most teams.
 
Good debut from Diaz, thought we looked better defensively apart from Mendy and a howler from Ederson. Two great saves from Ederson too though.

Too light weight upfront and in midfield today. Thought pretty much all our offensive players were poor, even KBD. Foden, Mahrez and Torres all couldn’t hold the ball up. We don’t look anything like title challengers from the first 3 games. 5 points dropped and a negative GD. We need to sort it out and quick, doesn’t look like we’re going to make any other moves in the transfer window, so it’s going to feel like an age until we can get Aguero or Jesus back and we’ll drop a more points too during that period.
