I hope we`ve got lucky by signing Ruben Dias and I think we have.
Walker had a good game, but he still can't defend the crossfield ball - he completely goes to pot.As a centre half in a three, managers will quickly target this weakness.
I really think we have really got something here.
There was one cross where, if we were being 100% picky, we could say he 'could' in a perfect world, have stepped back & marked his man, rather than leaving it to the bloke behind him, but you just can't be 100% perfect, whoever you are.
The instances v Mbappe, he defended exactly as Koulibaly would do: fuck the offside, don't gamble, go with him & defend it & he was quick enough to do it (you would never think so listening to the 'expert' fucking clown).
He is great on the ball, really great, tough as old boots, good in the air & can play on both sides (as they all should be able to do tbf but many can't).
Also, he plays like he's 30 years old & seen & done everything.
I recon, playing on the left, he could get a game out of John Stones too. Brilliant signing.
We were definitely due some in the centre half stakes.I hope we`ve got lucky by signing Ruben Dias and I think we have.
Well we have been after him for 2 years,so I reckon we’ve done our homework after the disaster of mangalaI hope we`ve got lucky by signing Ruben Dias and I think we have.
Cancelo and Ake,perhaps? We now have a world class central defence with a div 1 left back and right back that either has a stormer or implodes .
Maybe . Tbh I don’t like walker after what he did during lockdown and still think he should have been fucked off as some things are bigger than the team but he can be great one minute and then give a penalty away . I do like cancelo though and ake also .Cancelo and Ake,perhaps?

Do you think Phil should be fucked off to after he banged an Icelandic girl?

End of the day if we can all abide by the rules why can’t they . At least Phil agreed that he had done wrong . Walker tried to say he did no wrong .Do you think Phil should be fucked off to after he banged an Icelandic girl?

Tbh I doubt anyone has really ever bothered working on it with him, as the number of times per year it results in a goal, is probably below ten other things you would work on as a higher priority. If it was deemed a big problem, I imagine they would just drill him on it. He's learned to play in midfield, so I imagine he can learn that & most of the time, even if he makes that mistake, he'll still cover the result of it anyway.
Neville was slagging him off for it, but he still solved the situation & the commentator on the Portugal game, was slagging Dias off, for letting the player get behind him, saying it's his man, not the responsibility of the man behind, the exact opposite of what Neville was saying.
We almost signed Harry Maguire to play in a 2. Compare him, to Walker in the same game.
