Interesting to read your viewpoint. It's very similar to a lot of Brexit arguments. If it's what the Scottish people genuinely want then I hope you get another ref in around 5 years time and make your cut. I'll be sad to see Scotland go though, I hope total independence doesn't stop us being close friends as countries.
....except hold another 'once in a generation' referendum.Current UK government seem to be doing everything they can to encourage the break up of the union.

The UK government didn’t hold the first one either.....except hold another 'once in a generation' referendum.
Sometimes I wish they did.The UK government didn’t hold the first one either.
I'm absolutely positive it will probably build a better relationship as both countries will govern themselves and likely work together but from a level grounding. Scotland and England are intrinsically linked and rely on each other, however it is very obvious that the mindset of both countries are very different.
I see it as two siblings staying in the same house that constantly bicker. Its just time for Scotland to move out. Doesn't mean the bond between both countries will disappear.
I think Covid has obviously impacted the referendums momentum as it takes a back seat. Once it's passed i expect full steam ahead.
Nothing in there that is particularly surprising.Have you seen the rest of the poll?
They were given a chance ans voted to not leave.58% of Scots would vote for independence given a chance according to the latest poll just reported on ITV News. This theory from some of the Brexiteers that the Scots wouldn’t risk leaving the UK seems to be the bullshit that most people capable of a bit of objective analysis said it was.
You’re on the ball aren’t you. They were given a chance ans voted to not leave.
Just stating the blindingly obvious for those blinded by bitterness. You’re on the ball aren’t you.
I’m sure they’ll be along to thank you - if their eyesight comes back.Just stating the blindingly obvious for those blinded by bitterness.

Surely they should have another once in a generation referendum rather than just continual polls?I believe its the 10th poll in a row thats given a Yes result....this being the largest
But they voted no two years before the Brexit vote largely on the basis of staying in the EU, so they’ve had their chance apparently.I believe its the 10th poll in a row thats given a Yes result....this being the largest
Indeed - in both votes. But they voted no two years before the Brexit vote largely on the basis of staying in the EU, so they’ve had their chance apparently.
