The champagne socialists on here don't get it. They don't understand the working class.

I've been outright accused of desiring 'utopia'! No, I understand the mindset of what people want and what it's like to be continually denied what they ask for.

You will only win a certain section of society with a 'morality' argument. That is the real 'utopia'.

People have real lives affecting them and the establishment think they know what's best.

Wisconsin has a recount rule where the loser has 3 business days to request it.

If he wins Wisconsin and Nevada he'll be at 254 points, meaning he needs to win one of Pennsylvania or Michigan

Looks like Biden is sure of 255 votes so needs Pensylvania where he is presently trailing badly. North Carolina and Georgia are close but well into the 90% of votes counted and Trump leads in both. Michigan (16 votes) with 78% counted is currently in the Trump camp with a lead of 230k but is still a possibility for Biden

If democracy plays out, there's a very good chance Biden sweeps up everywhere except NC with the mail in ballots and it ends with about 306 which is what most people predicted.

Trump will ask for the votes to be annulled.

Tough one... if you have a ballot pack in Pennsylvania that says you need to post it on the day of the election (you’d have to vote before the polls closed last night) to now potentially face a situation where the President wants your vote annulled but you have followed the rules. It feels a bit like 1930s Germany, Italy or Spain. Trump is saying people are voting after the polls closed... that is 100 per cent untrue. The overwhelming majority of absentee votes were cast days ago.

No idea, presumably state rules on when counting of mail-in votes starts, and also allowing for the "3 days from postmark".

Look where the votes are counted though.

The reason the NYT and co are predicting Georgia to Biden is because it's in big democrat areas like Georgia where the vote count is lagging behind.

Its a bit of a nightmare scenario where Biden probably needs those two to win. It will take days to get the final numbers and he might get them by small margins. The court cases will no doubt start before the counting is finished.

Goes for UK to. Surely there’s an upcoming politician out there that inspires a nation, someone who appeals to everyone. I’m guessing Americans are fed up with these old politicians that get recycled every few years. How many years have we seen Clinton and Biden hanging about the White House? A Biden victory won’t be the end of the divide for Americans, it will widen.

There's more chance of a converted politically inclined, popular celebrity pulling that off than an actual politician.
