I have been repeating all night/morning that it would all close and the bookies odds were not representative of the actual probabilities.

Shortly after I posted that, Biden drifted out to 2/1. Now he’s slight odds on favourite. Looks like it might just be playing out as predicted by you and others on here regarding the postal votes count but I felt it was too much of a lottery to lump on Biden

Detroit districts like Wayne will be very Democrat. However, there’s quite a few ‘red neck’ districts in wider Michigan. Close again but Biden only needs a very small swing to take Michigan.

If you look at say Wayne County which is pretty much the City of Detroit, less than half the votes are counted and like you say, its a heavy democrat vote. You have a few counties around there like Oakland that are very affluent and wealthy that are democrat and then all the red across Michigan is very rural and red neck on the whole. Bottom line for Michigan is that the key area of Wayne which is a huge amount of votes is currently not counted. They are heavily democrat votes so Michigan could well turn around and go blue.

Seems the postal vote could do it for Biden. If he holds Wisconsin a lot will depend on Michigan and I think he can pull that back as a lot outstanding is Detroit. No wonder bookies switched.

Looking at what areas still need counting in Wisconsin and Michigan it’s coming down to the very last votes. Could be under 5000 deciding Wisconsin. Think NC and Georgia will stay republican and Nevada to Dems. Trump with decent lead in Pennsylvania atm but lots of votes still to be counted. So essentially, it’s on a knife’s edge. Very very close.

Yeah I wasn't confident to lump on again (got him at 8/1 at the start of the primaries) and I still think the whole thing is a toss up.
