I hope keep him as a squad player/coach if he wanted. He is leaving regardless. He is not getting a new deal at the age of 36.

agreed...like Kompany and Zabba, I think Dihno will be given an open ended invitation to return to the club in some form when ever he feels he wants and in a role that he can determine - he has earned it after allI'd love him to stay and teach the kids the tricks of his trade.A better tutor/mentor you could not find.
All I know is it’s a knee injury that has kept him out for 7 months and he is in final stages of recovery. Sounds like ACL but that’s a guess.
Just had a skim through a few of his highlight videos and he looks like the player we have missed since Yaya's departure.
Not good that he has already been out 8 months though, with no sign of a return.
Its very odd.I'm starting to think his leg has fallen off

I suspect they receive the going rate for an academy coach, which is probably closer to 50k.I have always loved this "always a role for them at the club" comments.
I have always wondered how this actually works and good examples would be Zabba and Ferny, i assume that they don't undertake these roles out of the goodness of their hearts and as such get a salary for doing so. But what sort of salary to you give someone who has been earning over £100k a week for a number of years?
Do they accept these roles on £50k a year? £100k a year? What would they class an acceptable wage?
Just curious about how this all works.
Too small for that role. Even Arsenal got rid of Torreira. There are certain criteria's we look for in that position, that's why pep went for Rodri.fuck sakes, I’d stay the earth-moon distance away from him. Once an ACL, it’s never the same again. Bennacer for me.
ive never got that zabba, ferny should get roles after they retire, we want the best coaches, zabba and fern may not be the best coaches, people are showing too much sentiment , same as vinny, i love all 3 players, zabba my all time favourite , but they have to show they are of the quality that we need .I have always loved this "always a role for them at the club" comments.

100% they need to have the coaching quality, that is essential and has to be the bottom line. But their passion and enthusiasm for the club must also count for something, and has to give them an edge/advantage.ive never got that zabba, ferny should get roles after they retire, we want the best coaches, zabba and fern may not be the best coaches, people are showing too much sentiment , same as vinny, i love all 3 players, zabba my all time favourite , but they have to show they are of the quality that we need .
