we know pep will have double protection in midfield with rodri and gundogan and have both wingbacks tight on liverpools wingbacks

but liverpool have that ball from deep and hit you on the break with pace. so city will have to respect them because they can hurt anybody ? pep knows more than anybody we can be catch out by that sort of move because we do leave a big space behind, but its also a weapon that gives city the ball and the magic we have then we can hurt them badly

very hard game to call and the media have it as the title decider hahaha am having any of that
to many games and a long hard winter program, so its going to be the most open title race and leicaster city and everton and spurs chelsea must be respected

He has been out for months with a mystery injury , he has had a lot of injuries
Here's Jesus's injury history:
So that's 5 in the near 4 years he's been here. Which if you make the effort to compare to other City players in the same time frame, only puts him behind the freaks like Bernardo and Sterling.

Jesus isn't injury prone, like Aguero has become or Kompany was. He's just not injury averse.

If Jesus is injury prone then so are Laporte and Fernandinho.

Wow - that's far fewer than I thought he'd had. Must be perception akin to 'he's always offside' :-)

Jesus would have been a bigger one. I’d have loved to have Sergio available too, but our no.1 striker now is Gabby. If he isn’t then we can’t be the high pressing team we need to be. I reckon when both are fit (if that ever happens) Jesus starts more league games than Sergio. We are so much better with an actual press. I know it’s hard for people to accept but the baton needs to be handed over now, and another striker bought as soon as possible.
Hmmm, I get where you are coming from but Aguero is our best natural finisher and probably the best in the league (although there is an argument for Kane) and players like that last longer at the highest level. While I can see merit in looking for a new striker, he remains our main man for a good bit longer. A bit like Kompany was in his later years.

Why would you expect him to? I've just made a case that he's not injury prone, what's yours that he is?

Also what could the mystery injury be that you assume it to mean he's injury prone?

The fact is we dont know what the injury is , pep just kept saying it was bad, hope he has no bad effects , i cant be bothered to get into this in detail, hope we have them both back and firing soon , fully recovered

You should go into detail, because your reasoning as to why you believe a mystery injury is an indicator of being injury prone as opposed to just simply being a mystery injury currently sounds preposterous, when all the evidence suggests otherwise.

And I'd like to think you have good reasoning for your point of view, but if you don't explain it how can I know? Based on what you've just posted I assume you think that there's a possibility he could be injury prone based on the injury, but until that actually happens how can you definitively say he's injury prone? Again when the physical and non-hypothetical evidence points the other way.

Are you sure you're not just worried he's being rushed back, as opposed to injury prone?

Its great to be playing at the end of the weekend.
It is a bonus to know where you stand before going into the match.
Last season around this time we lost to Liverpool and it seemed that the league was over.
If we were to lose on Sunday it would be a setback but I think we could overcome it

Have to agree. Match fit Aguero trumps match fit Jesus but in terms of preparation, I’d prefer Jesus with 15 mins under his belt than Aguero with 15 mins under his belt

Gabby looked really sharp on tuesdat
