Man City TV Launched

content is limited appart from the full match replays, the look back at previous seasons never seem to change, although qpr 3.2 is always a great watch
 
I've got two different but current Samsung tv's. One has the City app on their app store and the other doesn't...wtf!
 
This app is doing my nut in.

I'm subscribed to the £1.99 thingy as it's been coming out my bank for months.

I can login via the Facebook option. It let's me "in" but all the Premium clips have the padlock over them.

When I click them it tells me to either log in (I already have) or subscribe and set up the £1.99 thingy (which I already clearly have).

What the fuck?

City really need to get shit like this sorted out , not sure why we have so many issues of this type .

It's amateurish for a club of our size .

Same here, if it asks me to input code to pair with my TV one more time

After being all excited and giddy at being able to get the app on my Samsung TV, I've binned it, it just doesn't work always having to pair it with the TV and constantly being told I need to reboot my router.
It's so so poor, a club with our finances and growing fan base and they serve this crap up. I think they just couldn't care less.

I said the same (ie the poor coverage from a club size of City) in a Facebook group (City's Women) and got into a bit of a argument with someone the works for City+ . Personally I think we have people running the club (not the owners) that see the fans as pain in the arse !
 
I have had the App installed on an LG TV since launch,and other than some early teething problems,its been spot on.

I really don't think that the owners or senior management at the club have any idea how poor this services is, It really needs highlighting, I remember some years back we were winning awards for our website content. Not any more.

Do you mean the picture was spot on mate, you surely can't be happy with the standard of presentation, which on most occasions when I used City TV zero, no commentary no highlights no pre or post match interviews.

Yes,the app itself and the ability to watch the matches they choose to show.

I agree,the content could be much improved,there is very little enthusiasm involved.......it does seem like something they have had to do rather than something that they wanted to.

A debate/discussion/analysis show would be superb and a definite pull for more viewers - i'm confident,with a professional front man/woman we have enough former players to be a part of such.
