I back the boys to win today but I’m still cautious of Liverpool as you can’t write them off. It’ll be interesting and almost attack vs defence. Our attack has been poor recently and they’re without their best defender meanwhile their attack is on fire and our defence has been very solid. Should be fun regardless

Haha, good luck to whoever’s moderating the match day thread if that happens. Seems to me Pep needs Foden’s work rate to keep Robertson in check. Can anyone honestly see Mahrez working hard to stop him getting forward?

I think there’s nobody we can put at left back today that is perfect for us. Ake is more solid, yes, but has nothing going forwards and will allow TAA to come forward. A more attacking choice is less solid defensively but would give TAA reasons to stay back more. It’s a really tough call, and there’s a chance that either option can end bad for us. This is what Pep is paid for I guess!

We need to be extremely careful and clever on the wing, I dont wanna fucking see Robertson or TAA creating a clear chance for them to score from. Jota wont need 2 chances to score one in his current form...
Lets punish them on the wings instead of they doing same to us.

Well, you’ve got Aguero and Fernandinho out, two key players of your spine. Ditto with us, VVD & Fabinho are vital parts of ours. As I said though, enough quality on both sides to still produce a good game. BTTS is an absolute nap.

What makes you think you’ll score? Our defence has been absolutely water tight this year.

I wouldn’t rule out VAR forming part of the narrative today. It’s beyond farcical now - the Bamford decision yesterday was absolute madness. Offside for pointing where he’s going, how the fuck does that work? Hopefully though it’ll be a good game between two good sides.
