Agree. Midfield is a big issue, but again loads on here don’t acknowledge Rodri’s lack of pace / inability to get close enough to players to tackle / foul on the counter as a big problem. But Aguero a few years ago or Tevez would at least give us a punchers chance in these big games. But without a special January window the big games will play out like this the majority of the time, as they did last season.

Tbf rodri isnt the problem put a player with pace alongside him and the midfield will be sorted.

Aguero may be fit but always takes him 5 or 6 games to get going by which time nearly half the season will have gone plus he’s unlikely to see the season out without suffering another injury

A concern for sure but Covid will rule out any more big signings unless we trade

Our problem is we are not ruthless behind the scenes I mean if a lot on here had there way everyone who won the centurion season would have contracts for life even though there form is shocking . Take bielsa and Jose for instance who would drag someone off after 20 mins if it wasn’t happening something we don’t do .,if we carry on relying on sentiment then it will end up in disaster.
 
Lukaku should score loads for us and he would be a good signing but £90 million is very steep .
