Bt, sky,bbc etc preparing for tonights post match reports.....City win= meh, dead rubber, rubbish opposition etc etc. City lose.....PEPS CL HOPES IN TATTERS BLAH BLAH, CANT WIN IT NOW BLAH BLAH, result dissection lasting weeks on bbc footy page too....two faced twats.

Please win and we can slip quietly into the knockout stages, and who knows without the usual expectation we may surprise a few in it this year.

Times Radio this morning actually said “Liverpool cracked against Atlanta” it was as though they couldn’t allow themselves to say LOST.

Why? I was certainly surprised (albeit pleasantly) that Liverpool lost to Atalanta and we also battered Olympiakos last night so should have scored a hatful, but didn't so arguably the same problem as other recent matches (even if the outcome was still what we wanted).
Look at the words used. Liverpool shocked lol. Nothing negative after a defeat. Take the city headline... wasteful after we win. Nothing about us qualifying to the next round. The tone for both reports is very different. That why I said cunts!

BBC Breakfast doesnt even mention it devoting its entire sports coverage to Maradona and a forthcoming documentary plus a special award on SPOTY.
Nagafing Munchetty the Expert on Everything spouting how anyone who saw the match against England will never forget. She was one at the time and l doubt she has ever seen any match in full.
But the main thing is the dippers defeat has been buried by people with their own heads buried in the sand.

It was a shock and we were wasteful - that was the point I was making.
The only shock is that var did not step in to help the scousers. City may have been wasteful but that should not be the headline. It should of said something along the lines of City secure qualification to the knockout stages with a 0-1 win. The word wasteful does not need to be in the headline. Same with shocked when describing the Liverpool defeat. You would have to click the link to see if the shock was a defeat or a draw.

Look the bbc are rotten to the core.
