I am fed up of saying this, but here in s america calling someone black IS FUCKIN NOT racist and is in no way an insult or a derogatory terminology

I am confused
I though the campaign to stamp out racism was BACK LIVES matter so how can calling someone black be racist ?

Doesn't matter,he in the UK,
Just like Bernardo didn't say the word, just added a cartoon character,
You do no you can loose your job by referring a set to in a football match as handbags overhere

I agree with you on this. My wife was raised in Brasil, and says the same thing.

However, it is Cavani's responsibility to get to know the culture of his adopted country, and abide by the rules and conventions of that country. He's been in Europe long enough to know that he should not have used that word. He has even seen the consequences of what happens when that word is used. He really has no excuse.

I see sky sports are still running the headline of Cavani apologies.

Only two days after it's happened. You'd think they was trying to make out he was innocent.
Fking comical, maybe the left hand doesn't no what the right hand doing.at sky.

This off kick it out site...

Sky has announced a new programme to air on Sky Documentaries in November, investigating the alarming rise of racism in English football directed at players and fans and the sport’s response to the recent political movements tackling racism.

Not sure how Cavani using the N word and Bernardo referring to an image of a black person on sweet packet can be classed as the same , what Cavani has done is equivalent to Suarez and using the N word in any form has to be 6-8 match ban the same ban Suarez recieved
Will the Rags be wearing T-shirts , justice for Cavani before their next game , its what the 'istree clubs do

Alan Alan gives us a wave
Alan gives us a wave!

This was before we'd won anything.
Classic City fan humour which distinguished us from the rag herd.
We've lost a bit of that now.
It must have been us getting into trouble about the same time as we sang to the not incredible Hulk. Genuinely funny but an early indication of what a gang of clowns EUFA are.
Another funny moment from the fans was at Anfield when their subs were warming up running into our corner. Huge cheers for Kolo and Mario(?) running together and a big pantomime boo for Sturridge who scowled with his customary good humour.

Yeah remember those incidents.
Not to mention Berti Glauber!

My point about Suarez was exactly that the argument that his use of terms was not considered racist in his homeland was rejected as irrelevant and that only British cultural and legal values were of relevance. Thus, Cavani was using an argument already dismissed some years ago. As FantasyI says, a precedent has been set, reinforced in the case of Bernardo (ridiculously) and they cannot ignore that in the case of Cavani.

"and they cannot ignore that in the case of Cavani", I wouldn't bet good money on that TBH.

It was absolutely freezing that night but Alan got everyone moving and warmed us all up!

Fuck the FA and the rotten greedy clubs that pull their strings. Bernie was hung and quartered. Cavani will not receive the same level of criticism.

The bias & corruption will continue via the media. Red over blue it is that simple and commercially it makes sense.

There is a moral to this whole Bernado/cavani comparison affair......if you want to call a friend something risque but which is ok with them then do it during a private conversation/phonecall or even email. Under no circumstances tweet it, facebook it, comment it on a public forum etc as half the fckin people who see it will be offended on your friends behalf.

A sad but true state of affairs.

If you play in red then you might get away with it, and will at least have the twats at sky/bbc/bt etc making excuses for you.

Even though I have not seen the tweet and dont give a shit what he called anyone he should still be banned, purely in the interest of upholding fair and equal standards for all players.

I cant help but think that anyone who gets "offended" on a strangers behalf has never been properly offended themselves...........some may even find this view offensive...........thats ok I am not offended by that.
