I'm at the stage I was with Bony, I just laugh when he starts. I fully appreciate the fact that he's stealing a living and has absolutely no right to be playing for a club at this level. Only offers a left foot and I don't mean he's even competent at using it.

Looked good today and after the injury problems he's had to endure , let's hope he stays fit and pushes on.

He gives us another option offensively which is good.

Was superb again today going both ways.

offered the width so that our wingers could get closer to the forward. Not getting enough credit for his goal, the finish was incredibly well taken but the run to get right up in line with the forwards was brilliant.

He seems better when played outside with a winger cutting in. So today rather than playing inverted wingers we played wide wingers and our best outside fullbacks, including Cancelo on the other side... and unbelievably these players got in the way of each other.

He was poor but the setup was baffling.

Benefit of the doubt? You’ve just quoted me from weeks ago after a game where he was excellent, scored and brilliant goal and rightly got the praise his performance deserved. him having a poor game tonight doesn’t discredit the praise I gave him for an excellent performance weeks ago
