This is the Star Wars that should’ve been instead of the crap prequels and sequels, just finished Season 2 and they’ve blown it out the water with the ending, everything in season 2 has ramped up, if you are a Star Wars fan id recommend the £6 to just to watch this and watch to the very end of credits of final episode for a surprise.

Nice one pal,it really is a brilliant bit of escapism and one of the very few shows i genuinely look forward to.They have captured the Universe brilliantly and the actors are mainly great.

I'm gonna watch the last episode this afternoon, with mixed emotion in knowing that i have to wait God knows how long for the 3rd series, arrggghhhhh!

Surprised there wasn't already a thread on this.

The creators have done a superb job, especially on series 2. They have given the audience exactly what they want.

Baby Yoda "Grogu" was a genius creation.

Brining back Boba Fett was also a great addition and have done it very well so far. You still sense quite a dark edge to his character despite providing support to Mando

What Filoni and Favreau have done for me a die hard star wars fan is pull it back from the shambles it had become, Filoni has linked into the Clone Wars animated series brilliantly and going forward he should be at the head of writing and new films. He knows what the fans want, I’m sick to death of hearing stop pandering to the older fans, it’s them that kept it going and also they are bringing their kids into it. There is plenty for old fams and new ones alike and Filoni gets that.
The new shows in the pipeline, Boba Fett, Kenobi, Ashoka etc have a high bar to reach but as .one S Filoni is involved and they keep Kathleen Kennedy away from it I’m sure it’s going to go from strength to strength.

I’ve always found sci-fi stuff (as well as the superhero stuff) very naff. Comic book geeks might love it all but I never have.

I thought I’d give Star Wars ago during lockdown and I watched them all in story-chronological order. I only liked Rogue One and Episode VII. Found the old ones very dated and the last two were just the same as all those modern superhero films - too much CGI, no storyline, and pretty much total dross.

But The Mandalorian is cool as fuck, I love it!

I'm enjoying it - the look and feel of the series is first class. However, I would say that the story and writing could be a lot better.

The makers don't seem to be worry about things like one week stormtroopers can't shoot straight to save their lives (remember when Obi-Wan said "only imperial stormtroopers are so accurate" after the Jawas attack in Star Was?) and then next week, when they need to help our heroes, they're like dead-eye dick.

I could’ve sworn it was a film I saw advertised.

Is this the Mandela Effect? My mates were talking about it as a film a few months ago.
The Mandalorian film was a Star Wars fan-made film

It’s bobbins! But it does exist
