Only listened to commentary for last 30 mins. Not heard anything so biased sine Chemical Ali was in his hey day. Not sure they knew we were on the pitch and Mahrez MoM was a laugh.
Did the Arse bring on Messi second half? Sounded like it from the way they fawned over the 2 young kids

That other arsenal fan who was hosting the show on Sky saying at least it should have been yellow for Fernandinho cos his raised his hand... but the arsenal player raised his hand on Ferna just before, in his upper chest ... does that warrant a yellow too? Players are always raising an arm to ‘hand off’ an opponent. Not great but happens in matches a helluva lot.

I switched on AFTV for a laugh at full time and even Robbie on there was saying there was nothing in it.

How are AFTV less biased than Sky!?

Went you watch it , it's just a normal tussle in the box from a corner, but when sky replay it in slow motion and make it sound like Fernandinho knocked him out with a left huck !
Media bollocks , the media moan about players play acting, yet made a big thing out of stuff like this , no wonder players play up to it !
 
After yrs of working for Sly Alan Smith has finally succumb to the "we hate Manchester City" band waggon.
With those mono tones and arse licking digs to the narrative, i really feel he has been primed to fill Martin Tylers shoes.
All he needs now to pass the interview is a tattoo of a "devil forking a liver bird"

Sky News (Sports update) at 23.30....arsenal, arsenal, arsenal knocked out by City.....not 3 times holders win away, all centered from am Arse point of view.

I can't imagine last week the narrative was Leeds lost in an eight goal thriller, it'd be rags rags rags all the way.

As for last night's match coverage I don't normally have sound on but FFS Smith was bad & the girl after the game... you know how bad it is when Jamie Rednappe is on our side.
 
The quote of the season which nails how piss poor these twats are was when Bernado did his “rugby tackle” it was from this point on I actually started to enjoy the commentating.
Every other word became an outtake stocking filler for Soccer AM....
I think we should produce a DVD of all these gems and decisions from the last 5 years be a great prezzie ...be good to have Buzzer doing the links and voice overs

Like another poster says, I’d say Laporte deserves to be in there but no other city player does.

not arguing that van Dijk is probably the best centre half in the league but why is he in there for 2020? He played well until March, had 4 months off, Liverpool were then disastrous defensively during the restart and also at the beginning of this season and then got injured.

id also argue that kane and son are in there based on august-december alone.

Negative stories about City drive almost as much online traffic as positive ones about Liverpool and United. There is money to be made out of knocking City not least by the pundits who always get asked back.
That said another factor (especially in the tabloid press) is the "Little Englander" card. We have always had the "wrong sort of owners" as far as most British newspapers (and their reporters) are concerned. Old-fashioned racism has played its part.

So according to bbc breakfast news the girl covering the sport says as they show the mahrez free kick,the keeper mistake cost arsenal the game,so they would have won if he hadn’t spilled it didn’t show any of the other three goals,only thing she got right was at the start saying we thrashed arsenal ..
