I usually give the BBC a very wide berth these days but I'll watch it on the iplayer when it's available.
Thanks for the heads up lads.

I was at Derby, we played in an all Maroon strip and I think Colin scored via a deflection off his backside.
Really sad news for all blues.
Great victory obvious negative with Colin's injury wasn't there a bus strike that night ? The red shit were very quiet at tech drawing 1st lesson Thursday morning happy day'sWhat a great night that was ! I'll never forget it as long as I live. Those of us Blues privileged to be there will all remember how we absolutely ran them ragged (pardon the pun). 4-0 flattered them and it really "should have been 10".

Yep,walked back into town, then"Special"back to Salford Precinct, full of pissed off scumYes, there was indeed a bus strike that night. I recall Lou Macari saying on Radio Piccadilly afterwards that the rags couldn't do a thing right. Even to the extent that he said he felt so bad about it that he wanted to throw himself under a bus..........but none were running.
That made my night. Lol. Funny how these little things stick in the memory.
Great quote from the night bill c never heard it before I think the strike started late evening as I went on the bus with my mates but met the old fella outside the main ,(Maine) stand and walked to deansgate Knott mill in the day and got a lift home off my Grandad both no longer with us but Great memories remember dad saying lots of reds about but They're that sick they're hiding the shit coloursYes, there was indeed a bus strike that night. Had me in tears at the end
Just this minute watched it, really excellent and fitting tribute and brought back a lot of very happy childhood memories. I had to smile at the memory of City's then permanent mascot, Paul Todd. He was a year younger than me and lived up the road in Fallowfield. After I left junior school I went back to watch the football team play and, by chance, he was playing for the opposition, well he was until a lad named 'Chiddy' Walsh laid him flat out with a glorious left hook!
