Colin Bell RIP - Ian Cheeseman interview with Jon Bell (P142)

Very sad news, gutted - the word legend is used too often nowadays and he was more than that to CITY. I met him a few times, remember a trip to superstore to get his book signed, ducked out of work, ran out of petrol on way, free wheeled into CITY car park, ditched the car and ran to get in the queue.....treasure that signed book. I also had a photo of him at hospitality at CITY - had my newborn son with me for his very first game, told Colin my son had been baptised a few weeks ago in church but now meeting him The King, watching CITY he was being "properly" baptised! A quiet, almost shy man with time for anyone - but what a player he was. RIP Colin Bell.
