@Healdplace , if it wasn't for you so kindly and selflessly posting these statistics on here (in whichever format you and others are comfortable with) many of us would be so much less up to date and so much less informed about the national "picture", it'd be scary (not that it isn't all a bit scary, but you get where I'm coming from hopefully).

I for one am, and will always be, eternally grateful for your efforts.

Many thanks, everybody needs a pat on the back from time to time when they do good work, you deserve yours.

This is a bizarre situation. You have been providing clear information on here for months and I'm sure the vast majority appreciate it. If for some strange reason a tiny minority don't like the format you post it in then they can choose to access this information from wherever that has it in an acceptable form for them.
 
I am not leaving so nobody needs to panic. Just don't get angry at Kaz and I am fine.

We may disagree but she has a right to express disapproval of my posting. Anyone does.

Let you into one tiny secret I was once not a (very minor) character in the plot of a Hollywood movie because the author took umbrage at something I had said. Or rather a reviewer had said which was not entirely the same thing.

So a disagreement on here is not going to upset me.

As I said I will do my best to stop using capitals and am fine with that.

I just do not want to trigger any rows.

And dining out on that story was way better than ten seconds in a movie!

Revenge is often sweeter if you do not go looking for it.

Nobody is rowing, your posts are an integral part of this thread. What next, people checking each others spelling. Everyone is as important as each other that's what makes this forum what it is. Kaz has put some very important and enlightening stuff on here as a sufferer of covid and I'm sure it has helped many of us over the last few months.
 
England Hospital Data

Patients 33, 362 - up 437 in 24 hours.

Ventilated 3464 - up 113 in 24 hours.

Both of these are new highs for England in the pandemic.

Good one.

No thankfully. But it was kind of appropriate as the scene involved the actor throwing something of mine against a wall in horror. Every time I see the actor who played him in the movie (he is a Hollywood star) I smile.

Don't get angry. It only hurts yourself. Revenge usually comes by the winds of fate if you are willing to wait for them to blow your way.
