Chelsea thread 2020/21

Just put Talkshite on for the first time in a couple of years and Cascarino is virtually defending the decision, Tuchel to take over, in this weird time how can they do that? Talkshite off for another two years.

This is all about Werner and Havertz.

They spent a fortune on these two during the summer, and Havertz has been absolute gash for them since day 1, while Werner has faded badly after a very promising start.

Sending Tomori our on loan what he was one of Lampard’s development projects, while hanging on to Rudiger should have been a pointer that something wasn’t right!

Chelsea are a disgraceful club. Back your manager when he is down. That is what City did when we were on the down. That is what Arsenal did when they were on the down. Expecting results in 1 season because you spent that season is stupid. Not everything clicks together like 17/18 City.

Disgraceful club! Good luck Frankie Lampard.

I rarely get upset about another team's manager being sacked or anything. After all I am City through and through but I liked Frankie Lampard.

(Could be because he smiled at me once when he almost had a thrown in near me and I shouted come on Frankie!!) ;-) (I'm easily influenced!!!! )

Usually a Chelsea manager wins something Lampard didn’t! Sooner or later keeping sacking managers will not work

is there a bigger knob than shouty within the RDAHMeedya! The BBC have a few, Sky 'n BT, but this guy takes the wafers and the Garibaldis.
And TalkSport team him with the other biggest tw@ on their roster (Simon Jordan). They have Danny Murphy on this morning to make things even more crass.

Unbelievable Jeff as Chris Kamara would say.
They knew he had a big rebuild after the transfer ban and trying to integrate some excellent youth products with the number of new signings they needed.
Why back him to the hilt knowing full well it would take time to gel then sack him at this stage?
To be fair to Chelsea, the constant hiring and firing hasn't stopped them being competitive but I think it's very harsh on Frank.

Major spending spree in the summer (which was needed) after a transfer ban and Abramovich clearly wanted immediate return on investment.

Chelsea have a very good squad and are a top centre back away from being able to challenge for the title in my opinion (maybe not this season now)

Think he deserved til the end of the season.

If it’s one thing that City fans learned in the Swales and Lee eras... changing the manager rarely brings an upturn in fortunes. Chelsea have got away with their revolving door policy but sooner or later it’ll catch up with them.

I think it’s incredibly harsh. He did a good job overall and got them into the champions league.

they have wasted millions on average players. The academy players are their best players and have kept them going

I hope he goes to Wednesday.

and yes, they have got a strong youth contingent - that transfer ban actually helped in a way. Tammy Abraham, for one.

I've seen a few post match interviews with him where he seems to blame the players for defeats. I think once a manager starts to do that it's the beginning of the end.
