Doesn't take the joy out of the game for me, witnessing their desperate desperate supporters crawl out from under the rock they’ve been hiding under thinking it’s the 1990s again. United top of the league, The Spice girls will get back together, Tony Blair in Downing Street and sales of VHS video recorders going through the roof.

It didn’t take much to put that self doubt back into the raggies head did it. A loss against one of the worst teams in premier league history and a gutless draw against a very poor Arsenal team. Those are games you should be winning if you want a league title.

So yes it’s joy watching them crash and burn when they get all excited. They mocked us for not winning trophies, they laughed at us when the false dawns happened. Give it then back, we won’t hear from this lot again until next August when they start believing again.

On this, i think the majority of those making these sorts of comments are teenagers/kids in bedrooms.
I think social media could do more to take things down and there’s an argument about how old you should be to go on social media (though there’s lots of young people doing good raising money awareness etc which would be effected by that).

but I do think this is overblown somewhat. I don’t see how any of those abused are genuinely effected by the posts (in the context that they are most likely kids in bedrooms) and if they are they’re too weak to make it as a footballer.

Oh, i didn't mean the joy from us City fans & i certainly don't care about Utd fans but even the neutrals get no enjoyment out of watching Utd play.
I've had loads of people mention how good it is watching City play but practically everyone (non media anyway) is completely scathing about how Utd play football.

They are awful to watch, the two games they played against City this season they showed nothing. Their first eleven probably costs more than ours, they don’t get much return on their money.

Their tactics are primitive, twat the ball up the pitch run after it and hope something happens. They can’t dominate teams, they are stuck in a time warp with Mike Phelan whispering the Fergie play book into Solksjaer’s ear. The lemmings that follow this shit show of a club will never question it.

Yep you got it right with the Mike Phelan fergie playbook! Ole is a puppet a front man saying all the right things while phelan is the coach who is reaching them the hoof ball the cheating the diving!

It’s like Life on Mars happening to Edi Cavani in real life. A prolific Uruguayan striker wakes up thinking it’s the 1990s with his manager referencing that he reminds him of Teddy Sheringham. Playing in a ramshackled cow shed of a stadium and clingers on referencing the United way.

They tried the clean break with Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho but the likes of Fergie are always there in the back ground sticking the oar in. Now they’ve gone back to their comfort zone with the old piss cans disciples in the dug out doing his bidding. Forever stuck in a time warp.

Strangely a lot of Blues on here fell for the PR nonsense as soon as he hit the scene, almost straight from United reserves into the England team. Many said we should buy him.
 
Only a loon would think they are good enough to get anywhere near ........ you watch the amount of times Ole pulls the same trick over the last few years ......, he wins a fair few they get all giddy then the real United come to the party and show that at best they may get a top 4 finish ........... there not in the same bracket as you lot and the scousers ...... still it’s funny seeing all the plastic rag fans getting all giddy
