I don't know. Hard to be critical of anyone after a win, but I am just thinking about how we'd feel had we dropped points here. Pointless maybe, but man, we need a better finisher.

They kicked him all night and ref having none of it whereas Richarleson dropping every time and getting a free kick.
Not Gabriel's best game but plenty of effort so no complaints.

Worked his socks off tonight. Finishing let him down today but the work he does for the team and the space he enables for his team mates is invaluable in tough away games like this.

Brilliant centre forward short play tonight, he was up against 3 massive centre backs and consistently opened himself up for a pass and turned in a very tight spot, he was magnificent. He had one chance he should definitely have hit the target with but it was by no means a sitter. I have absolutely no idea what he hs to do for some people to appreciate his game. Only Bernardo was better than him tonignt.

If only he could hit the net what s player he would become. Has all the abilities to become something special

His movement and effort was as good as I've seen it.

But he overcomplicated it a bit with the ball in the first half despite good moments and of course his finishing isn't quite there, yet.

Overall he did more than enough. The signs are there of another level. Nice assist too.

We can say what we want about other aspects of his game, but cant keep missing sitters. Striker's primary job is to score and his record in the league this season is less than good. Its not even average actually.

A good performance from him and I really like him in that wide left role. Just seems to unleash some of that pace and trickery he has and allows him to get the ball to feet without getting kicked.

Would be tempted to start him out there and give him 20mins to get confidence in him before playing him through the middle.

Just needs to work on that finishing more. Yes it was on the left foot but to not hit the target is poor. Still, a key part of the team and young enough to be given credit on his goals to game ratio.

I get what you're saying but are we not beyond conventional player roles? We have a fullback that plays as a 10 at times.

Of course Jesus could be scoring more but we're on a long winning streak and he's having a positive impact on that.

Obviously him banging them in like Haaland would be better but he is so good in his other work that IMO he should play as often as possible. Even if it's in a wide role.

With more games he may calm down also. He gets so upset with himself unnecessarily. then again Pep goes mental when he misses so there is that. :-)
