Hoping Aguero starts tomorrow but fear he may still not be fit enough.

Anyone with a half brain cell will look at how united play so shit after spending so much money and realise that coaching is extremely important...Everyone with a brain cell knows Pep is the main reason we are flying for the past 5 seasons. Just look at the record after record being broken.

But it is also very nice and excellent self control from Pep to not say that out loud. Because there is no reason to say it out loud. Unbiased people with a brain will already know this and biased idiots will close their ears anyway.

Moreover Pep admitting that he is the major reason will also deflate the squad a bit unnecessarily I think..I mean imagine your manager going in press and telling I am the sole/most major reason for the current success (like that wank mourinho). It just leaves a sour taste. Pep handled the situation perfectly today imo..we are so lucky to have him for so long

Will be a tough game and will test our mentality.

Got a fully fit squad near enough so hopefully those fresh legs on the bench will make the difference.

They have a really good balance to their side now and particularly in defensive areas. But regardless, it is a game we should be winning. They might be in good form but we are in better form and have a much better team.

If I was Pep I would be targetting Coufal. Doesn't seem to have much pace when I have watched West Ham so one to try and get behind. Their defence has looked solid, Fabianski is quality for them and Rice and Soucek mop up a lot so getting goals might be tricky.

Agreed, the Iron are my favourite London club, and fair play to Moyes, he's
confounded a few this season, including me. They are playing very well, and are a dangerous prospect, plus City were only playing the other day.
I still think we'll beat them though, the bench we have is too strong.

The table doesn't lie and if they are 4th they are 4th best currently, on the other hand while 45 points from 25 games is a good return for West Ham, there are other teams that should be on more than that,Chelsea, Lliverpool spurs arsenal should all be doing better than they are and above 45 points from 25, so in that respect it is a bit of a false position for West Ham.

You’re right when looking at the season as a whole but games played before Christmas aren’t any indicator of current form. As pointed out by a poster on kumb, looking at the more representative last 2 months rather than the whole season, City are current the No.1 in form team and West Ham are the No.2. So, on the basis of recent form West Ham are notionally our toughest rivals.

We’re at home, we’re brilliant and we should beat them but I suspect that it won’t be a walk-in the park.

Agreed mate, I wish it were the Rags or Dippers we were playing, I watched a few clips of West Ham yesterday, and shit they most certainly are not, that Antonio is always a major nuisance for a start.
