Can’t wait till next season, you’ll all be saying this kid is superb told you so.
Is it negativity? Or is it simply an honest assessment of his performance? I don't see any negativity. Seems if you're not gushing with praise constantly you're labelled as negative and wanting the guy out of the club.Wow so much negativity here. I felt there's was enough in his game even today to see that he'll be great coming seasons.
I don't think he's looked more lost than Bernardo, Sane, Cancelo in their first seasons. Just my opinion. Is it negativity? Or is it simply an honest assessment of his performance? He was shit today, totally ineffective going forward and didn't even at least nullify their threat from that side. He looked lost far beyond what any other first team signing under Pep has done when he first came in, he improved and did admirably if not great in an unfamiliar position when given a chance then since injuries has eased, hasn't had much of a look in but when he has, he's been anonymous. None of that is negative just an overview of his season.
There is a difference between making an honest assessment of his performance on this game, and people then extrapolating that he isn't good enough for us based on this game.Is it negativity? Or is it simply an honest assessment of his performance? I don't see any negativity. In a pandemic, where he's probably not seeing family, and other than our squad won't have a great many friends here.First year at a new club and country, he needs time, he’s very young.
Exactly, a lot, (myself included) were slagging off Rodri & Cancelo, Stones looked on his way out and Zinchenko was in trouble. Look at them now with a full season and a half of coaching into the new system.I am convinced that doubters will, once again, be eating humble pie over the next years.
Given his time at the club and his limited appearances, he has done quite well. He hasn't set the world alight but he's 20 and has been rated as one of Spain's best young players since he was 17. If you think we only bought him because he was cheap, you know nothing of his career to date.
Let's be clear: patience and support should greet all young players who arrive at our club.
Sane was Meek too for a good 2/3 of his first season here. So his in good company.I’ll wait until the end of next season to really judge him. But so far he’s been meek.
Maybe why hes not performing right now?

Marca have provided an insight into the struggles faced by Ferran Torres during the winter period, after the 21-year-old battled with Coronavirus. The article states that after his 'extraordinary' start to life in England, the winger tested positive for the disease and 'lost three kilos' in weight in what was a 'bad time' for the former Valencia man.
