This enduring decline is really starting to get me down.
Yup. When taking to opposing fans and see joint XIs you won’t see Rodders, len, zinc, Gundog, gabby, etc featuring in the conversation. Put these are all key playersSomething that is never mentioned in the media is how wisely we have spent
He was on my stream last night and after we scored our 4th came out with something like “The mere suggestion of dropped points offends them”. Made me laughI'd got Drury and Begin. Drury was wanking over us like Tyler does with Liverpool.
Very similar to ours before the takeover if we are honest. And when they were the best team in England they had a City-like tendency to blow the big occasions - like European cup finals-so they should have won more. Add to that their fall and rise through the divisions and hatred of Man United and I feel that they are a similar club.Their club history is 3 league titles, 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup.
And a couple of non UEFA Fairs Cup.
And the last trophy was almost 30 years ago.
Fuck off yer Yawkshire in bred twats!!!
What is it the AFC fans sing to MK Don's. Where were you, when you were us!I saw an MK Dons fan calling us a soulless club on Twitter once. Almost spat my drink out.
I'm no lonver of Leeds a couple of a couple of very scary trips to Elland Road in the seventies made sure of that. I realise however their is greater potential there than at possibly any other club in the country. I also feel that their great side of the late sixties and early seventies neither got the recognition or the trophies they deserved. In 1970 their seemed to be a determination from the football establishment to see they finished pot less. The press weren't interested in Leeds or City but only in rags, dippers , Chelsea and Arsenal. Feel historically they have been treated very like City. Will always respect Howard Wilkinson's side for denying the GPC and his scum side the title.Their club history is 3 league titles, 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup.

Not only that, but they asked where were the complaints when Liverpool were walking the league?WOW, I’m watching the midweek MOTD and I’m sure I’ve dialled in to a parallel universe! They were waxing lyrical about us. All 3 of them were drooling about how brilliant we are. Did I dream it? :-)
Yes, just seen that too - a most refreshing end to the programme. Not only that, but they asked where were the complaints when Liverpool were walking the league?
I think we might hear about Gabby Logan being sent to a gulag tomorrow at some point.
Looks like trouble in paradise. After years of indulging his descent into embittered insanity, looks like even Miggy has had enough of MacKenna’s defence of far right Covid deniers
Didn't see it but so they should.WOW, I’m watching the midweek MOTD and I’m sure I’ve dialled in to a parallel universe! They were waxing lyrical about us. All 3 of them were drooling about how brilliant we are. Did I dream it? :-)
I know, that’s one of the things I was thinking but what struck me as well was the three tonight weren’t the ‘old guard’ i.e. Shearer, Lineker, Wright, Keown, Laurenson, but two of the ‘younger ones. Alex Scott and Steve someone. Plus the presenter was Gaby Logan!Didn't see it but so they should.
Always said that if they don't change they will look like twats, you can't watch the standards we are setting and say anything other than brilliant.
I have friends who follow rags and dippers who have no shame in admitting that we are unplayable at the moment.
It's the ex players who get paid to say/write stupid things that come over as spiteful that eventually end up looking absolutely stupid.
Totally agree with this. I used to work in W Yorks and had some great friends who were Leeds fans. This was when we were at our lowest ebb, mid to late 90s, and whilst the piss taking was remorseless, it was good natured and never smug.I like Leeds and want them to do well. In terms of their club size/profile/history they are very close to City. I’m perhaps biased because I have Leeds supporting mates including one who works at the club but I’d be delighted to have them as serious rivals in the future.
That really was Pathetic. Why would the biggest/best news corporation in this country stoop to such a low. That is so obvious and very childish.
Pathetic of the Beeb to give him that classification when he only spent 2 years at Leicester but 8 years at City.
I like your optimism sir, I’ll not hold my breathI know, that’s one of the things I was thinking but what struck me as well was the three tonight weren’t the ‘old guard’ i.e. Shearer, Lineker, Wright, Keown, Laurenson, but two of the ‘younger ones. So as well as admitting that we are brilliant maybe they are not toeing the ‘party’ line but going their own way.
There is so much competition to get the good pundits now that they may be able to air their own views!
The tide is turning lads and lasses, the tide is turning!
Very interesting post..I'm no lonver of Leeds a couple of a couple of very scary trips to Elland Road in the seventies made sure of that. They are a proper club, passionate fans, although in my experience total lunatics, night matches at Elland Road were the equivalent of seeing battle action in the army.Very similar to ours before the takeover if we are honest. And when they were the best team in England they had a City-like tendency to blow the big occasions - like European cup finals-so they should have won more. Add to that their fall and rise through the divisions and hatred of Man United and I feel that they are a similar club.
Id rather they were challenging for honours than Liverpool and United, put it that way. And yes, maybe I’m biased because I have always had Leeds supporting mates.
That's the Mediawatch feature, where they take the piss out of football writers. It's the only thing worth reading in that pile of electronic toilet paper. It is quite funny that they've written this exactly 1 day after publishing a piece lamenting why people have a go at journalists on twitter. Seems like multiple editors with different agendas over at F365.
