Good interview with Gundo in the Guardian tonight. Tellingly its not by one of their resident City haters/sexual deviants
That’s a great read, thanks for sharing.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Donald McRae will be looking for another job after writing a pro City article and bucking the media trend.

Ahh the good old BBC. they have a story that the FA are investigating an agent, Aidy Ward who is alleged to have bunged parents of a youngster 10 grand. If true totally illegal and he could be banned.
The next paragraph states that until last season Ward was Sterling's agent.
It is only later on they decide to mention the liarpool player he CURRENTLY manages. So much bitterness and so little class.
Are they investigating how Matt Busby 'persuaded' Duncan Edwards's parents to get him to sign for United rather than Wolves who he had been associated for some years? Apparently buying a house for the parents was acceptable back then!

Utter tosh from the spit master. Rival club fanboy setting unrealistic targets and spreading lies. City is a beast of a club and we will not go quietly into the night. Dippers are a pathetic bunch.
"Do not go gentle into that good night."

There certainly were. I have read the bombing of Dresden literally created a vacuum that incinerated thousands.
The Dresden death toll has been argued about ever since the raid took place.
The Nazi propaganda machine put out a figure of 100,000 citing the thousands of displaced persons in the city. The effects of the fire storm were cited to explain why there were not 100,000 bodies. Too many ppl took this as gospel, hence much of the revisionist hatred of Harris.
In recent years, the city has conducted its own historical research and concluded that much of what is commonly believed is just myth. For example, they say that the fire storm was much less consuming than believed.
Dresden now puts the probable death toll at about 18,000 and certainly no more than 25,000. Still a terrible price to pay.
(Plenty of stuff, if you google it)

I know, that’s one of the things I was thinking but what struck me as well was the three tonight weren’t the ‘old guard’ i.e. Shearer, Lineker, Wright, Keown, Laurenson, but two of the ‘younger ones. Alex Scott and Steve someone. Plus the presenter was Gaby Logan!
So as well as admitting that we are brilliant maybe they are not toeing the ‘party’ line but going their own way.
There is so much competition to get the good pundits now that they may be able to air their own views!
The tide is turning lads and lasses, the tide is turning!
"Steve someone" is Stephen Warnock ex Liverpool player.

I've been loosely following this conversation with interest. My brain had confused Dresden with Droylsden

tbh I'd be careful what you wish for going back that far, they all did that.

Also, there was a video of an ex city player openly admitting to taking a bribe to throw a game on one of the threads the other week, his name has escaped me now, I want to say Roy Paul but not sure if that was right tbh

it's a wonder they don't try to dock points off us this season for cheating 40/50 years ago lol

BBC reporting that players won't leave Liverpool if they don't make Champs League - Players are loyal to the club (Barf)

Just last year the same Beeb were reporting that Pep and City players were lining up to leave if City's UEFA ban was upheld in CAS..

I live at Media City and have sometimes caught a Liverpool game at Lime bar, the number of Liverpool fans there far out weigh the number of City fans when I've seen us play there - bbc & itv is infested with them. Also remember passing Second City in Ancoats on Saturday there were more Liverpool fans in there for the 530 ko than united fans at 12 30, I've watched us play them there to and the crowd was 50:50 bet you wont find the same happening in liverpool
