Very concerning for the CL.

Our mentality when we go behind is very questionable and our qualities aren’t really suited to chasing the game.

Take one example (and I can choose many): Rodri; he is the perfect player for us when we’re winning and want to slow the game down and keep the ball ticking over; but Rodri is the sort of player who is fucking hopeless for us when we’re chasing a game.

Hitting teams on the break: only Foden and Agüero have a counter attack in them. All the rest of our attackers want to slow down and turn inside to get some inane passing going like we’re 4-0 up, when we’re trying to chase a game.

We will have to score first in the CL to have any chance of winning. We will not come from behind to win it.

Our mentality going behind is awful as you said our style is not suited to when we fall behind.
Rodri was completely out on his feet come 80 minutes today because he's used to picking the ball up deep and playing the game at his pace when we are chasing it he's like a deer in headlights. Fernandinho gives us much more in games like today and he much more clever stopping counter attacks Rodri still has a long long way to go of learning the dark arts.
Foden caused Wan Bissaka more problems in 10 minutes than Sterling has in 3 years!
We need to improve dramatically in the Champions League.

He gave the ball away 5-6 times too. For him, that’s awful. He had a couple of brilliant crosses. Our expectations of him are very high, as they should be. As with West Brom, this can be a motivational match/result/performance.

Very similar to our win at OT in 2008. They were much the better team but we won on the day. Bragging rights for a Monday morning but they won the Premier league and the Champions league. Let's just have a few beers, get it out of our system and move on

There were no positives to take out of that game but overall we have to be happy that our rivals have been dropping points for weeks and we still have a commanding cushion in the league. The run had to end at some point but you'd have hoped we would have gone down fighting when it did.

My concern would be if we do the same in the CL, as we have a habit of doing.

This all day long, we don't concede in the first 20 and it's a completely different game regardless of the 11 on the field. I don't have stats to hand but I don't think we have a great record when we go behind in games.

Good from Zinny and Stones who tried their best. Iffy from Dias and Rodri. Mahrez did okay in the 1st half. Gundogan worked hard but little came off for him.

You can say, well it doesn't matter because we are X points clear etc etc etc.....well, Bayern had their derby last night, were two down after 10 minutes and came back to win 4-2. When was the last time we did that in a really big match?

We play Southampton at home and Fulham away before Rags & Leicester play again (versus West Ham and Sheffield Utd respectively.
Gutted today but we shot ourselves in the foot - 1st goal was always going to be decisive.

A claim made up by people desperate to find a reason to attack him. Including some City fans. I doubt there is a manager in history more committed to winning football matches. He does not let up in any match.
