People keep saying that this XI would have beaten United comfortably really have no idea. The XI we played on the weekend would have beaten United most times too. Conceding an early penalty really changed things massively.

Besides, if this was the team that was announced on Sunday there would have been outrage at Cancelo and Stones being on the bench, with no strikers at home to United too adding to the fury.

Incidentally, this is far more like the side he should have gone with against the rags, with all our high energy players in foden Bernardo and fernandinho all in from the start. I don't know if its intentional or not but if it is, its pleasing to see he's identified the issue and not stubbornly insisted it was the right team as he's done in the past.

He's a good player , tidy on the ball rarely loses possession but he doesnt take games by the scruff the neck and plays the safe ball, he will eventually grow in confidence but needs a few games , would have thought this game would have been ideal for him.

He's still only a young lad coming from a different league. We'll see more of him next season. Same with Cancelo we seen fuck all of him last year now he's a regular. Just takes time to get used to the managers instructions and time to settle.
Going to be a good player for us I reckon.
