welcome aboard.
6 days till the virtual bluemoon 10k.
Got a question, and this will probably sound ridiculously stupid to most but I'm suddenly realising that I'm now nowhere up to date with technology and gadgets like I once was haha...
For someone who loves music whilst running, but hates carrying a phone, do air pods or galaxy buds or such like allow me to listen to Spotify playlists and stuff without my phone being present, or do I also need a smart watch or something else to be able to do this? And, in the event of an emergency (or more likely, me going over on one of my chocolate ankles again), can I make or receive calls with said air pods/galaxy buds or smart watch etc, again without actually having my phone with me?
Sort of running related so hope this is considered the right thread, I'm lost with all this stuff haha, I just know I don't like carrying a phone about when I'm running even if its strapped to my arm or whatever, its not ideal. Cheers.
What song
Yes. Six more days for you to squeeze in some more training. Then hammer yourself on Sunday, whether you like it or not. :)blimey! I wasn’t even aware of this

What song
Just checked back and it was "I remember" Deadmau5 and Kaskade. Clearly I wasn't listening or I would have remembered...
And the lyrics do mention not giving up... inspirational! Was more the beat that got me through it I think.
Couple of easy runs this week for me before this 10km on Sunday.
I prefer the sound of my feet on the pavement plus hearing my breathing, especially on a race. No music next Sunday.I know the one, great tune. deffo a good one for running.

I've tried a couple of runs without music but really find it hard to block out the inner "STOPPPPP" that comes into my head. I need to do it more, because I think mentally it's got to be good to fight the inner demons that way.
I can just sort of lose myself with music and the kms tick by a lot quicker that way.
On Sunday we must all face the music.i good way to avoid Music is to run with others
Knowing one or 2 on here they’ll be a bloody league table.... now way fo I want to finish bottom!!On Sunday we must all face the music.
