A thread about protesters

You'll have to forgive misty, he doesn't really have your experience and knowledge of protests or policing. His conflation and whataboutery is a clear attempt to derail the thread from its central point of wanting womens rights for climate change during stop and search in a society where black lives matter and the police stand idly by while we protest at their brutality.

Yeah, right, that's how it works.

Altogether now...

I want a greener world against FGM , sports washing and the BBC licence fee, not to mention less cancel culture more council houses, twenty's plenty, Reese's Pieces and bendy bananas.

But that is exactly my point. If you think that is a very hard watch, (and you're right) think of the poor copper who does that every single day, so why are we allowing companies to have encryption?
The law has supposedly caught up with pay as you go mobile phones in an effort to stop drug dealers and yet encryption means it is so easy, they don't need these out dated phones.
I thought you were saying the police don't investigate paedos on the web?

If it wasn't for encryption there's several posters on this site alone who could hack into your messages and steal your personal information without breaking a sweat. If the police want to see Whatsapp messages they can get a warrant from a judge and get them from Whatsapp.

No, I know they do and they do a brilliant job. My moan is 'we' make it so easy for criminals by allowing encryption. I though all these companies had to be licensed, I know it is too easy to say just withdraw the licence but these are young innocent children being abused.

As I understand it they cannot get access to it, even with a warrant. I have read several reported cases where google/wattsapp refused saying they do not have access themselves

Come to think of it.....

In the 80s not one striking miner I met was vegan.
Oh you, I don't think you asked them, you're just trying to kid me.

And in previous posts I have already stated I am worried about the 'protest' Bill. I believe in a person's right to peaceful protest. It is what a democratic country should have.

Why is no one protesting about wattsapp and other encrypted services that are allowing perverts and paedophiles to groom youngsters and the law can't touch them?
They see happy to protest about not being able to protest but not about important issues like this.
You can start the protest. Where will you be?

They do, every bit of American software has a backdoor and you can bet the NSA have access.

Well if the English cops can access it, I would spend every last penny hunting these evil dirty perverts down. I'd allow the cops anything they asked for.

The wankers through their actions are just guaranteeing the bill goes through. Good.
I watched a couple for a couple of hours and these WANKERS .. when the cops started to push them back the twats through themselves at the shields then a mate who was taking a vid would get a so called shot of police brutality.... and his mate would say great shot.

I live in bristol but im a manc born and bread, but these wankers have protested sunday tuesday and tonight... get a life and DONT AIM THE ANGER AT THE POLICE.
