Harry Kane

I actually think he would do very well at Real Madrid and would love to expand his cultural experiences

Don’t disagree with you. But for some reason I have a strong feeling we will be in for him. He’s overplayed at Spurs and that has contributed to his injuries. That wouldn’t happen at City. I get the argument about his age and fee but he is a brilliant CF and would score an absolute shit load in our team.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he'd score a lot of goals over a few seasons. I just don't see how there's any longevity in it and I don't want to see us have to go back out in two or three years to sign another replacement.

I presume you mean he would like to go somewhere where, if he wasn't a footballer, he'd struggle to get a job stocking shelves in Eroski, rather than Tesco?

True. But if your captain goes on record and says he wants to leave it will be very hard to keep the player.

levy is in control of it while Kane still has that long on his contract Levy can set the fee and I’m sure levy wouldn’t of put W buy out clause on his contract if he did the premier don’t have to stick to them

If we did sign Kane rather than Halaand then I'd presume Delap would be slated to come in and be his eventual replacement.

Kane is a top class player who would score at any level, he would be a good choice we would get a good 5 years, and Delap be his understudy this means we get a proven striker and a chance to blood Delap, who if he takes his chance could replace Kane in the future, but if that does not work we go back to the market in 4 years, Delap is young but shows great potential, and Jesus could play off these two if necessary.
Could Haaland get in Delaps way ? they are very similar and not a huge age difference.

You'd hope so but I'm not convinced that any of the current academy players will go on to be regular first team players for us. Nothing against them but it's just not the way we work anymore, unfortunately.
Phil Foden & Eric Garcia say hi!

And if you don't think McAtee for one is going to make it with us then you've not watched him. Superb footballer, Romeo Lavia comes to mind as well.

I think City and Kane is a great match. In fact a cursory read into the spurs forum last couple of days their more level headed fans want him to go to City if he ever leaves them. But it won't happen for two reasons. The thick **** Daniel Levy and Jose.
Daniel is a prick and despite what some people calling him an excellent business. He is not.
The first rule of negotiation is you don't treat the opposite party with disdain. For ex. asking 80 million for Dili Alli few years back, 50 mil for Rose ( they are worth 20 combined now tbf). Going to Aston Villa with the first offer of 7-8 mil for Grealish, the year before they were promoted. There is a sense and logic to negotiations.
I say this because of the asking price of 150 mil. Those fucked up ankles and 28 year old age is not helping his cause. He is going to fuck up the deal. We as a well managed club will get other targets and probably will win multiple trophies again next season. So fuck him!

Not seen much of Lavia but McAtee will go on to be a top player, injuries and mentality permitting. It will be great if that's with us but I'm not holding my breath.

If Kane wants to leave Spurs it’s now or never, we won’t be spending £100 million on a striker every year. Does he want to finish his career having won everything or as a one club also ran? Reduces Levy’s leverage if he’s prepared to push for a move.

I believe we have some very good youth, Delap, Cole Palmer, to name just two, but someone Like Kane would be a good fit, I believe he would help the development it would also give these young lads a chance to progress and believe they could get into the team, Delap has impressed me he is very young strong and lots of ability, he could be as good as Haaland who knows given a chance, but sign Haaland and it could block his progress ?.
