Jack Grealish

Fantastic player. Exactly what we need. Give him a chance if he is lucky enough to put on the blue shirt. We don’t always need the next foreign import with a sexy name.Jack is a combative snarly technical player with speed and aggression. Our midfield needs legs and grit to help out rodders.

Grealish is a great player, but probably the last type of player we need.

Foden, Bernardo, Mahrez, Sterling, Torres, Jesus who can all play in wide areas cutting in. In the creative central positions, we have De Bruyne, Foden, Bernardo and Gundogan.

We need a new striker, and possibly a new left-back and holding midfielder

This is all paper talk again. He signed a long term contract last summer so why would Villa sell. As results have a shown they’re a bottom half side without Grealish.

Haha! Not one City player even though we are currently the best team in the world.
Grealish has missed the last four as well hasn’t he?
They got the number one position right though I suppose.

I can understand no City player being on a listing of individual top players but if the list were top teams then I’d expect us to be right up there in top spot because as a unit we’re second to none.
Which is cool because it is, after all, a team game.

Anybody who thinks Grealish is a **** should watch some of his interviews. He comes across as a really nice lad and speaks humbly about what he does for disabled fans, etc.

I understand the resentment towards diving, but when you're one of the most fouled players in the world, you probably go down easy to protect yourself on most occasions. There are much bigger cheats about than him.

In terms of ability... he's got it all. He would become one of the best in the Prem under Guardiola.
Of course he's 'one of the most fouled' cos he goes down like a fucking girl. Shit.

Mahrez, Dias, Silky Ilkay and Stones should all have higher ratings than Grealish imho.

I rate Grealish highly - though I've not seen many games of his.

Grealish is a **** - no doubt. Diving. Feigning injury. Striking opposition players if he thinks he'll get away with it. He's definitely a practitioner of the "dark arts."

At the same time, he's not an out-of-control lunatic - e.g., Diego Costa. I'm not a fan of many of Grealish's tactics - but under Pep, those tactics could probably be eliminated.

For me, a top, top striker replacement (Haaland) should be our first priority next window - if we signed Haaland next window and no one else - I'd consider the window a huge success.

In short; I'd like for us to sign Grealish - but I think such a signing is a luxury.

* Statistics from top 5 leagues only

I would suggest that they might be overrating the entire Villa team a tad.
Just a tad though :)
