Jack Grealish

We should’ve offered Leroy better wages and offloaded Raheem. We need pace, but we’ve kept the wrong one.

If money is tight, Kane for Sterling and cash, and Felix for Jesus and cash. Squad dramatically improved.

Sterling was head and shoulders above Sane in 18/19. Leroy left because he couldn’t get in the side ahead of him and Bernardo, and rightly so. Nothing to do with wages...

I wouldn't mind bringing back Jadon Sancho back if we are after that type of player and a player who can keep Sterling on his toes. The only things not in our favour is his enthuisasm in returning to a club (yes Grealish currently wins that aspect of the deal) and Dortmund's valuation.
Seems he wants to go United for whatever reason, but he’s evolved massively and would be great for us.

Never go back, it rarely works, his time with us is over, he did not want to wait for his opportunity, he backed his talent and the move has done wonders for him, respect for that.

Sane had been tapped up by Bayern and he would have rejected whatever offer we made him.

i’m no Sterling hater like most on here, but Sane has a higher ceiling and can finish with ease. I said it at the time, we made a huge mistake on Sane, but Foden has stepped in with ease in that position.

Im not so sure pal, the issues with mentality haven’t suddenly upped and vanished... on his day (which currently isn’t consistent), he’s a top 10 player in Europe, however, if that can’t be nurtured by the best coach in the modern game, I don’t see where it does.... he’ll have a stand out season somewhere down the line, but I’m not so sure he will build on that like the top players.... was a massive fan but something missing with Leroy!

This greasy haired, ankle sock wearing humanoid leg day is gonna be fit for our game isn't he?

We didn't make a mistake with Sane. He wanted out and we let him go. It was a shame he got injured in his final season with us. That would have shown us a lot more about him.

Remember though that he had plenty of bad games. Pep regularly was fuming with him even when he came on as a substitute and wasn't doing what Pep wanted.

Sterling has out performed him but in terms of natural talent Sane is undoubtedly better. But lots of players have the talent but attitude or application stops them from ever meeting their true potential. And lots like Sterling, Milner etc work hard and keep working and forge very good careers on a lot less natural ability.

Grealish has a lot of natural talent and works very hard, clearly. He just needs to settle down off the pitch and he could be the full package.

With Sterling you know he always has that poor pass or missed sitter in his locker but will keep getting into positions and try to make a difference and for that he can't be faulted. Whether he is good enough to play for City is purely up to whether he can regain some form and consistency and hit the numbers he should.

Well you do wonder if Pep had seen what is missing. Seen Leroy a few times this season and you do see the natural talent that he has but not noticed any consistency of high level performance or improvement, yet.

No doubt he'll turn it on if we play them in the UCL.
