I think they know that everything looks like a foul when viewed on VAR and is likely to get punished.
Agreed. VAR has made the situation worse. It is giving an advantage to cheats. But it's not just about winning penalties etc. We are seeing a big increase in faking injury to break up play. It has always been in the game but now cheating has been endorsed by managers and players. It's a threat to the future of football because match-going fans will not accept it. No one wants to pay big prices to watch a cheating spectacle.

Sadly, I don't think they care as long as their team gets the advantage. A lot of United's penalties have been soft this season but if you listen to their fans, everyone of them was nailed on. Same with Liverpool fans last season with their early season VAR decisions.

Yesterday the rags got the 2nd goal out of doing this.
Penedez goes down and Spurs break out of their area with Luke Shaw out of position and behind the ball.
Shaw clearly shouts / gestures to put the ball out and the rags all stop, pointing at their player lying there with no head injury.
Spurs kick the ball out.
Play resumes and the rags (now in their correct positions) "sportingly" play the ball back to Spurs and then apply the pressure. Spurs never really got a grip on the ball and lose it. Bam. 2-1 to the rags.
A promising breakaway for Spurs to a goal to the rags inside a minute....

Teams need to play to the whistle and refs need to be strong when the complaining comes in when this tactic backfires on the likes of the rags
Could also do with shaming the activity itself as increasing the likelihood that real emergencies get overlooked.
Fucking despicable.

I hate them so much. They are probably going to win every game now, so long as we get the wins needed (which I think we will) then it's all a nonsense.
The media are playing all this down aren't they? No talk of a late title challenge, though I see one of their paid lickspittles has broken cover today and likened the situation to 2012. Remember the pressure down the years that the other teams in the title race against them had heaped on them by the press, KK's meltdown, The Fat Spanish Waiter going all statto, even the French whinger got done by the GPC. It's collusion by the media and, as is often said on here the stuff of clickbait.

The lead will be 8 points, Burnley are wank, come weekend. It's still 8 points that we are in front of them.

The cheating from them is something else, I had truly forgotten what a bunch of hateful bastards they are. This is why ogs cites the 'famous nytid DNA' He's the first manager since the GPC to adopt his scandalous ways - suddenly they are there or thereabouts. I will be honest if we lost this from here it would be hard to take.

No matter what happened with 93:20 the media would build a win from here as the greatest thing ever to happen in the history of the world.

I think our players know this and won't let it slip from here though.

SCUM every fucking one of the rag twats.

How much influence do these cunts have with the PL/PiGMOL?

A hell of a lot by the looks of things.

They wont win at both Leeds and Liverpool

They have the concussion protocol to help stamp it out. If a player goes down holding his head the ref should implement the rules by asking him to leave the pitch for 10 minutes to checked by medical staff. They would think twice I think.

I wrote in here a few weeks ago what was gonna happen and it had done

United will go on a good run when the league more or less gone and the media and the deluded Man U fans will fall for it

this team got slaughtered when they lost to Leicester less than a month ago

same happened when they drew 0-0 with Palace

yet the turn up beat a Spurs team that let’s be right are there to be beat and now suddenly the rebirth is well and truly on its way ........... honestly bunch of suckers

Just reading about cricketer Chris Morris on BBC. United fan, not from Manchester, never been but us a die hard red. Anyway, despite a shaky start to the story he redeems himself at the end.

..............

Morris is yet to watch United play at Old Trafford and, although his recent earnings could see him splash out on a season ticket one day, it may be wise not to attend any away games at nearby Anfield.

"I tell you what, though, I'd be happy for United to end 16th in the league table if Liverpool get relegated.”

Sounds like Goldbridge.

Did he mention his childhood heroes Denis Charlton, George Law and Bobby Best?

His grandfather was a red so I’ll allow it especially after his Liverpool comment which I fully endorse.
