We'll be fine without him. Personally, despite his great quality, I think we often function better as a team with Bernardo, Rodri and Gundogan as a 3.

Agree with you about his confidence. I think that is playing a big part in his lack of form. Problem is how long di we persist playing him in the hope he will come good. His form has been pretty bad all season.

I think Sterling needs to be taken out of the team for a while till he gets his head sorted out. That tactic worked wonders for John Stones. The alternative is to sell him and get Grealish. It would have been better playing Cole Palmer today. With Mendy, and Sterling in his current form, it is like playing with nine men.

No doubt I’ll get banned, but that was a disgrace. We GAVE UP the FA cup SF. We were absolutely shocking. Sterling and Mendy should never be allowed to play again except in the reserves. Neither are good enough any longer. Sterling running into defenders time after time. Torres going missing yet again!

Doubt we will see Kev again this season.
Play like this v Spuds and we WILL lose the CC as well. PSG will rip us a new one and by next week we could be in a title battle, even though some say it’s a done thing.
Typical city were back again today. Lack of urgency and desire until Foden came on.

The players look mentally and physically exhausted. If we can give it that final push over the line and win the league I still think it will be a good season. After today, I think Chelsea looks more likely to have a better season.

So was Torres.. So was Mendy.. in fact that has been the case pever since we brought him. Aguero on the rare occasions he has played in the last 18 months has also been dreadful.

My point is there has been a very over the top, bordering on nasty vibe towards Sterling’s performances this season. Yes, he’s massively out of form but it’s not even exclusive to this season.. it was going on even when the lad was banging 20+ goals a season these past few years.

You're probably right because he wouldn't have given Southampton the respect he gave Chelsea by picking two DM's, by doing that it just nullifies our attack by sucking the life out of it. I think you need to look at the bigger picture mate. He's been a starter for only 5 of the last 12 games I think. That's about as far as Pep can take it and call it rotation. Do you think he should call him out publicly and throw him under the bus?
I could be wrong but I think if someone offered us a profit from our purchase price, we'd take it and put it down to sterling wanting more game time or something similar so everyone saves face.
