Paris will get ref on their side now vs City. Well done idiots.
Because they won’t get relegated and can just stay mediocre next season and the season after and still earn $$$$$Do these clubs not realise someone has to finish last? They can’t all finish top 3/4.
How is having a team that finishes bottom of the league good for your brand?
“We thank those clubs in other countries, especially the French and German clubs, who have refused to sign up to this.”
Bayern and PSG have been smart. The preferential treatment they’ll get now will surpass anything we’ve seen so far.
Sadly we have no option but join , it’s all about money .
I see PSG and Bayern are against the idea.
Too comfortable in their own respective national systems?
Bayern Munchen made promise to their fans that they will never support any Super League.
This is the reason
Well deserved.Paris will get ref on their side now vs City. Well done idiots.
But China has money -- look what they've paid some players. Or, rather -- they HAD money. The sport/clubs/stadiums are well devloped in other parts of the world and those parts have growith demographics vs Europe. So it may not be a threat today it COULD be -- less likely with American sports. But Europe is the only place to play football at the top level. Latin American leagues might not have a wage cap, or a limit to the wages:turnover ratio, but there is (for now) nowhere near enough money in their league system to remotely compete with Europe. Not sure about the MLS though, to be fair. Anyway what I mean is clearly this super league isn't proposing a literal wage cap, but a limit to spending will have a similar effect.
I hope Samuel is wrong about City, doesnt make much sence to get involved in this when they have tried to screw us over time after time.

True but we have won as CAS proved ;)So have UEFA though.
I thought they’d not been invitedPSG disagree, and they're in the same situation as us.
The thing is, if someone asked you could you come up with a worse bunch of cunts to run a football competition than UEFA you couldn't. But then along comes this suggestion and you suddenly think fucking hell I hadn't thought of that.Am I actually supporting Bayern PSG and UEFA?
God it must be a bad idea
no offence. but if you thought we where bought as an act of kindness or due to the romance of the game and not with a business plan in mind then you are incredibly naiveStuff like this makes you realise that to us fans, its all about supporting the beautiful game but to some owners, including our own it appears, football is just a business with vast amounits of money to be made.
Precisely right -- we are damned if we do and damned if we don't.I can't believe any English club would ever quit the PL which is much more lucrative than any European competition. Nor would the PL throw out the big clubs. This is a fight between the US owners and UEFA and City are stuck in the middle.
