Because khaldoon much as he hates these cunts wants to beAt them
you can’t beat them and be the best team if they are playing each other And we are playing Leeds West Brom and palace every week
We will have a foot in each camp here
Even if that's the case ,Why don't we have a seat at the table.
It's not all American owners. Agnelli is Italian, Perez spanish. Even if we decided to be a part of this disgusting group, why shouldn't we get special terms. I would be gutted if an mid table club owner of Arsenal gets to vote on what's good for City.
We are in footballing terms the 4th, 5th biggest. But we have no special rights. We don't have a chairman or a vice-chairman representing our interests. And I am 100% sure the other 5 don't give a fuck about us.

Bournmouth Nowrich Brentford Barnsley mouth watering excitement for the global fan base of the most exciting league in the world
Maybe a moment of reassessment should be taken. The big clubs should not have an over representation in the say of how football is run. The game doesn't belong to them, but they act like it does.
Yes, they bring in viewers, but have they actually helped fans in any way by bringing in these viewers? No!
They have used fans as furniture to be positioned and moved around at will, while at the same time charging ever increasing amounts for seats.
If clubs and fans was a relationship, it would be an abusive one!!!

Trying to keep my powder dry until the announcement. But if it turns out we are a part of this then whoever okayed the decision needs removing from the club. Be that Soriano or Khaldoon or whoever. Sounds mad given what they have achieved but this is our club not theirs and if they seriously want to damage football in this way and march on without giving a toss about what us fans think they can get to fuck as far as I'm concerned. I deeply hope it turns out we are not a part of this come the announcement.

Let's still wait and see what it all looks like at the end of the season, usual suspects.

The point is and I’m surprised at you is that currently it is not a closed shop, with a handful of games left West Ham and Leicester have earnt a champions league spot. Where are spurs, arsenal and Liverpool? They finishing top 4? This just smacks of never mind at least we are in. Absolutely pathetic. I think it will fail but those accepting of it have shown their lack of any sporting moral compass and that can’t be undone.

I reckon they’d find a way to kick us out within a few years. I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them.

Yes money

I don't believe Khaldoon would do that at the expense of the people who follow the club.

He is tapped into the very culture of it, certainly more than your average Chairman.

Abu Dhabi seems quite strident when it comes to preserving culture and would always give the owners the benefit of the doubt until I saw the actual plans.

Soriano, I would not have much faith in, but he still answers to the top man.

The early info doesn't make sense, as there is no leverage for us to accumulate power in positions that matter?

I daresay that the clubs involved will have prepared for a backlash and will have explored their legal options. If City really are on board with this then Khaldoon will have left nothing to chance. The clubs are going all in this time. This is not just a drive to get more out of UEFA. The only way I don't see it happening is due to a successful legal challenge. For me, this is touch and go at the moment.

The biggest question is whether or not the other 14 PL clubs can afford to lose the greedy six. If the 6 are kicked out of the game then broadcasters want their money back. Clubs could therefore be financially paralysed by having players on big contracts.

This could be the most momentous day in the last 30 years of football history. A day of infamy.

An utterly disgraceful thing. Could you imagine growing up in sight of the stadium of a team, have a long standing love for them from your earliest memory through to adulthood; only for them to up and leave to a city 2,000 miles away?!

What a load of fucking shit!

We could be FC Birmingham Moonmen within a decade.
I've never understood this about American sport ... it would be like City moving to Bath over the summer and then carrying on as Bath City next season with an entirely new fan base of lifelong "City fans" reminiscing about Colin Bell and York away and how they used to do the Poznan.
Bonkers.

But then I never understood how New York City were created one day in 2013 and had an instant attending fanbase of 20,000 ?
