For those pleased with the current stance of PSG. The political play out means they have no choice. Their eggs are in the FIFA / UEFA, Quatari Investment and Bein Sports baskets all connected with the award of the World Cup. They sold out years ago. All the the top clubs are confirmed as being in the same pile of steaming shit. The only difference is that some clubs are clinging onto different turds. Expanding the imagery the whole thing stinks. This has a long way to run as the stakes are high. Expect the posturing to get even more dramatic.

Football was getting out of hand for a while with ludicrous transfer sums, skyrocketing agents fees and huge wages and it could have done with some regulation.

I don't know the facts but if others wouldn't join City then we were probably left with survival (by following) as the only viable option. It's an awful state of affairs but as long as we weren't drivers of this I'd give the club the benefit of the doubt.

There’s currently only 3 leagues involved, including a shit Italian league and a Spanish league that is currently falling apart. It’s only the inclusion of half a dozen English sides that makes this even remotely a thing. If City and Chelsea had joined with Bayern and PSG to denounce this, how super could this Super League actually be when three of the remaining English sides involved are struggling to finish top 4 domestically?

No doubt, Bayern and PSG will now be forced to get involved, but I feel there was enough clubs to have been able put a stop to this.

Will continuing to attend premier league games be supporting the super league or is it all or nothing?

I'd have no problem if the format was the leagues but it wasn't automatic entry for the founding clubs.
