I seem to remember a lot of pissing and moaning about this exact stuff (it's all money/gonna feed the big clubs/ooh I don't like change) firstly when the premiership was created (I was in favour at the time) then when the European Cup (which I liked) was turned into the gross narcissistic bloated monster it's become. Change happens. We just have to move with it. Imho it won't happen anyway and is just a bargaining tool.

Greed?I understand why we realistically have to.
This guy
Dortmund in 97.And 2 - in 29 years since the Champions League format came in, there has been 1 new winner of the European Cup - Chelsea in 2012.
i hope they do , let the "big 6" fuck off and play there plastic games , kick them out of the league , carry on the prem and champions league as normal , most football fans wouldn't give a fuck if the big 6 fucked off. What do the Premier League have to lose right now? The competition becomes meaningless if the “big six” just qualify for this SuperLeague anyway so just fuck them off
It's hard to see how a super league would be financially viable long term? Sure it would make a splash for a season or 2 and they might have some super sponsors lined up but only 12 teams - so 22 games a season?? (presuming the national leagues boot the 12 clubs from domestic competitions). If nobody is interested in watching (which I think we can safely say from all the comments online they ain't) then TV money will go away, sponsers will go away... it's a dead league
If FIFA really do ban players from those 12 from playing in the World Cup then we are going to see top players leaving in droves - only the older (last payday types) will stick around and no up and coming talent will want to move to a SL club...
Probably demanded payoffs and NDAs, the fcukin snakes.United and Juventus officials resigning from their UEFA roles as we speak
A lot of them were on SaturdayI hope the players and staff walk
I’m lost for words. Just as I’ve started to find my enjoyment in football again after all the lockdowns and restrictions this hits.
I’m so so disappointed.
Dortmund in 97.
In a way, I’d like to see this happen. It would be amusing plus I’d be able to clock up a load of new grounds while we’re playing non-league football.
Just think on though. If a lot of the clubs in the PL had gotten an invite, they’d have probably signed up to it too. No fucker is convincing me that the Dildo Brothers over at West Ham, for example, would refuse a place if they were offered one. I reckon your club would join up too.
Abramovich keeping his powder dry with no comment slimey snake
Left the door open to sneak out
So why have we gone balls deep with that statement?
The reference to the Glazers maybe a cryptic way of pointing the finger
I just don't know but I sure as hell don't like it
See how it all washes out
