A win will help the nerves of many here, but an 8 point is a huge gap for 6 games - the United collapse in 2011/2012 was a big one, but it was also easier to overcome because we had to play them. It’s all psychological- if it had just gone from 5 to 8 gap we’d all be absolutely buzzing.

Villa, Palace, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Everton to go and you only need 10 points (and probably less). Perfect.
 
At this moment in time i don't give a hoot about the game or the title.
Think you also got your answer why pg did 8 changes the other day , could be last time to get to the champs league final before we are banned.
I think he would of been told about a possible super league happening while negotiating a new contract with soriano & owners ?
Obviously none of them respect the domestic league & cups, it wouldn't be long before the clubs would be forcing the prem with rule changes financially their way or the highway to .

I can’t see why we wouldn’t be. We haven’t actually played in an unlicenced competition yet.

We need to win v Villa. Once the actual match starts all the hand-wringing will be forgotten, if only for a short while.
 
Come on blues. It’s not the players/peps fault that the club joined the super greedy league. Get behind the lads. Need these 3 points.

I couldn’t care less about United or the league right now. What the club have done is awful. It makes the league and the other comps pointless to me. I dont think im overreacting either
 
Strange, yesterday morning I was getting seriously concerned about this game thinking we really need a win, looking at our & the rags remaing fixtures getting stressed,
This morning, weird empty feeling, whats the point?
