Put on hold is my guess. Allowing PSG, Bayern and Dortmund time to complete their contortions. As a matter of interest this SL is supposed to comprise 20 clubs of whom 15 are "Founding Members" and 5 qualifying somehow. At the moment there are only 12 founding members so where do the other 3 come from given that PSG and BM aren't (currently) interested?
"As in American sports, referees will have a microphone so they'll explain their decisions to the public in a totally transparent way and there will be an alternative VAR".
Since when was 6 three quarters of 20?It will never get that far.
The Premier league will have a meeting with Sky and BT for the next TV rights deal that starts in 2021 and they will say "We are replacing City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool with Norwich, Watford, Swansea, Brentford, Barnsley and Bournemouth, how many billions can we get per year?"
And sky will say, that sounds like the championship, in fact about 3/4s of the "new Premier league" have been in the championship under the current rights deal. and we pay £120m per year for the championship so it will be in that ball park."
And then the clubs will say, "gee that's a lot less than £3Bn a year isn't it? I'll go bankrupt if that happens"
And then they'll vote to keep the big 6.
Them and MalG.
I think there is some consensus that its already done and dusted. The owners are on the other side of the world oblivious to the noise and they’ll just ride it out.
The "new Premier League" refers to the Premier League without the big 6, not the 6 clubs that would be new to the Premier League.Since when was 6 three quarters of 20?
That hurts, doesn't it?So they're not just greedy, they're also spineless?
Hopefully, we'd still look like absolute mugs though even if it all falls through. They need 15 founding clubs but currently have 12 with clubs supposedly turning them down left, right and centre.
Could this be where it all falls down?
If they got desperate they could find any 3 clubs. They need 15 founding clubs but currently have 12 with clubs supposedly turning them down left, right and centre.

I haven't heard it but the more big names that oppose it, the better. I don't like Liverpool, and Klopp gets on my tits, however, all rivalries are out of the window for me at the moment. Gary Neville, Klopp, Liverpool fans, United fans; it doesn't matter who they are. As far as I'm concerned, if they're against this criminal power grab, they're on the same side.
The soulless nothing to play for super league how exciting. Can we be relegated? No, Is getting top four or top 6 important? No. No competition, nothing to play for season after season, each to their own.Fuck it I'm in. I will support city no matter who or what league we play in. City may be greedy bustards to the world right now. But their my greedy bustards. City till I Die!
Yes, but the Prem without the big six would still only have 6 new teams in it.The "new Premier League" refers to the Premier League without the big 6, not the 6 clubs that would be new to the Premier League.
Course not. They need the Bayern/Dortmund PR machine to play out so the fans accept they have to joinThey need 15 founding clubs but currently have 12 with clubs supposedly turning them down left, right and centre.
