City broker a deal between Amazon , Super sport China and Bein benefitting the whole of European football from grass roots to top, eclipsing the proposed EPL deal

Sounds good? ;)

As an Everton fan I honestly dont get why City and to a point Chelsea have signed up for this. Im wondering if you maybe thought Bayern, Dortmund, PSG were also in and I get the fear of being left out.

Basically though you both seem to have good owners in the football sense, they put their money in, not bleed the club like Glazers/Kronke and commit to the local area.

To me it seems like you both are being used to prop up massive debts of Juve, Real and Barca, possibly Utd and Liverpool. If you and Chelsea said no then look at the state of the league - it looks poor now with only 3 countries involved.

Your doing this just as you stand to possibly win the CL and also take advantage of these big clubs not being able to sign the Mbappe's Haalands etc.

Hopefully its you or Chelsea thinking of pulling out

and the rags,barca too.
its their craftry method of getting their payback on us after we beat their uefa
and thats correct. Why this was set up. to make City irrelevant and dominate themselves.

yet some lap this shit up clinging on the fact that our owners cant do no wrong. Mindblowing

We are getting into bed with snakes that have tried to shit on us for 10 years. If/when the Premier League kick us all out do we really think our old enemies will be our new friends?
Is Mansour so nieve?
The Shiekh hasn't got time to be sitting round a table with a few business no-marks like the Glazers and Henry. They is so far beneath the man it's ridiculous!

Khaldoon will have done all this.

Ultimately, City won't get control with the likes of Barca, Madrid and the history twins. They will always want more. Whether it's a bigger slice of the tv rights pie or something else, you can guarantee that if not at the start, then at some point in the future these four in particular will want to be more equal that the rest.

We are selling our soul to the devil to rescue this lot!
Two leagues of ten in the super league have relegation out of the competition!?
Now there's a thought...

i wouldnt feel sorry for the players, where is the players union in all this why has no one come out, milner yes but would he have done if he was 21 and at the start of his playing days, there all sat on the fence and will fall on the side the biggest dollar pile sits
Good points. I've been wondering about the PFA myself as well - the silence is deafening. I know it's a big ask but the fans alone can't stop this. The players are the ones with arguably more power than the suits in the boardroom who have agreed to this. If all the players at these 12 clubs came out and said they weren't taking part then the whole thing collapses there and then. Like I say, a tall order as the money will be a big driver for them but you never know.

Different tone to their press release about the postponement of our game with them following our COVID outbreak where the couldn’t even find the good grace to wish us a speedy recovery. Self interested twats spinning their own message

All of these statements are not for us.

Its for their fans, so they can feel like their club are the good guys defending football.

If they got an invitation they'd be straight in. Being lower down the table doesn't change the greed and self interest of the owners.

What has changed? Apart from this club being a spineless **** what has changed with what this Super League proposed from its announcement on Sunday?
The backlash, and also Perez spoke. I think his interview has ruined his Madrid bail-out league for him.

I just want Pep to be honest, I believe he is a very principled man ( lets not forget his pro Catalonia stance), hopefully he will put friendship and maybe even his job and call it straight, he owes it to the fans and to his players who have given him their all.
If he deep down doesn't agree with this, i'd have more respect for him to tell the truth and even walk out of his job than just skirt around it and not tell the truth.
