They bought the TV rights, and became 'the sponsored' airline. The bidding for Qatar 2022 was a massive fest of corruption and led to scores of resignations and prosecutions.

And yet they kept the Tournament, and extended their influence?

And Infantino, who was head of UEFA's legal during a time when they sold CL rights to people who ended up on Interpol's Red List for corruption during the process. Now he's running FIFA? And he let Qatar keep the 2022 cup?

And Platini turns out to have been corrupt as well?

Yes, I'd rather Real, Utd, and Liverpool and us formed an organisation that dealt with the TV and marketing rights.

Because they wouldn't be open to corruption in that way.

I honestly believe the G14 are the lesser of two evils. And I am dead clear why our owners would see this as an end to Qatar's highly dubious extension of influence into world football governing bodies who have proven unwilling or unable to act in a manner that proves their legitimacy.

I mean, they banned us based on information gathered illegally by someone who went to jail for related acts. How can that be the due process of law?

I agree with most of this apart from bit about trusting the G14. I would never trust the Cartel crooks at LFC, MUFC, Real Madrid, Milan etc. I agree with blowing up UEFA. It is rotten to the core and needs to be destroyed for the good of football. But what do we replace it with? What is being proposed could destroy domestic football which is the jewel in the crown for me. You can't allow Joel Glazer and John Henry to govern themselves.

The thing that sickens me (and I'm sure I'm not the first to mention it, but I'm not going through 400+ pages) is that, IIRC, the other 5 were all signatories to that infamous letter. And now we've climbed into bed with them.

5 signatories have forced us to take this step. Because ultimately, we lose if we don't join them. ESL was going to be formed with or without City.

I feel that strongly about this.

That i would be happy for our owners to sell up and fuck off, go and find another Club. I am really upset, we have become what we so despise a Rag clone Club,

And before anyone says don't be ridiculous, how would we ever survive.

We have been around for 125 years. Sure we have been up and down more than a hookers knickers' will give you that.

But all through that time we have had a very solid fan base. A local. Working class club, with a feeling of togetherness as fans, a feeling of us against the World. All together for one love City.

Make no mistake our owners singled us out for buying because of that solid support base. We have always been a top 6 Club.

Dont get me wrong i was happy we were bought. A sleeping Giant was awakened. But let us not forget our owners got as much out of this relationship as us, they got all the publicity they were after. We got the success we badly desired, and deserved.

I didn't like looking around the ground seeing tourists with Cameras that came with that success ,with no affinity to City, but accepted it was a price we had to pay. it grated on me that friends i religiously went to the game with were priced out of watching a team they loved though.

This to me right now though is going way too far, our owners are taking the Piss. Manchester City is our football Club, they had no fucking right to use our Club like this without consulting fans groups first. They are nothing more than short term custodians of our great football Club. You don't get to do what ever the fuck you want with it. Shitting all over our working class heritage, then using quotes from the Glaziers on the City Website...i mean really wtf is that about ? Sure market the brand, with your own. No one has a problem with that.

To make such a fundamentally important decision without consulting fans is beyond words. I am not surprised fans from all 6 Clubs are apoplectic with rage.

As one of the clubs excluded ( although ironically they have actually won the European Cup) I can see the Villa team being really motivated on Wednesday ( apart from Jack who won’t want to upset us) .

There isn't going to be an FA Cup or EFL Cup involving City if this goes ahead. Even if the PL don't have the bollocks to expel teams this is going to be open war with the FA and Football League.

But if the clubs in the SL wins the legal battle that has already started about not being expelled from domestic comps etc surely we the FA and FL will get the same treatment.....legally speaking.,,,,?
