Because I think there is something else in play here. The fact Bayern and PSG didn't put their names to it yet, something doesn't smell right.

PSG because of the 2022 WC in Qatar?
Bayern and Dortmund as they are majority fan owned?

The p/w flying around shows these 3 clubs so they were obviously part of the thinking or talks originally. The fact that the 3 have said no, makes the SL a bit more of a mockery

Joint statement from City and Chelsea would be nice
I think thats what could happen IMO.

Chelsea's insurance is City and City's is Chelsea. If league goes ahead then there will at least still be major clubs out ouf it and still some interesting games with other respectable clubs.

They would have expected backlash but not this much.
The whole thing's doomed and we'll see an apology from the board within 24 hours. That's my prediction.

Its not Everton specifically but people seem to think this all began recently. This started with FFP. Everton and the other clubs sat and watched while we were dragged through the mud, all because we dared to challenge the cartel. I refuse to believe that the people in charge of these clubs were too stupid to see what was actually going on. They did nothing. They all want to do something now though.

Of course, but it's now escalated into something far bigger. We have to forget the wrongs of the past for now IMO. Harry Potter wouldn't have beaten Voldemort without the Slytherins.

Well I disagree but lets leave that point there.

You might rather be irreleavent but Khaldoon and Sheikh Mansour don't, and they have made this decision and they are going to either live or die by it.

They aren't turning back now, too much to lose. Bit like when people thought City should just pay the UEFA fine and move on, we didn't, we took them to court and spent millions to flatten them. This is the chance they have been waiting for, put UEFA in the ground and I don't think Khaldoon isn't going to take the shot, he might miss but he certainly isn't going to put the gun down.
And we are all just collateral

We are like the new kids taking the back ginnel to school with a load of yank exchange students waiting to fuck us up. Unbelievable.

Well if we dont join and we are stuck sharing the 50p that BT pay UEFA for next years CL rights. PSG and Bayern don't give a fuck, they own their leagues anyway. The only way we stay competitive is being in the ESL.
Kill the ESL in the fucking womb. It doesn’t happen without Munich, Dortmund, PSG, City and Chelsea

Exactly. Soon as possible though, it's doing damage every second we're silent.

If the rumours are true then both City and Chelsea need to get written promises from other teams that they won't take our places. I accept that they wouldn't be legally enforceable but would severely damage any team that reneged.

Imagine a PL with no dippers, rags and gunners. I'd take that.
