I dont believe they did. If the players and managers were told, this would have leaked through family/friends etc.

Kier Starmer was just part of a zoom meeting in which a very good point was raised. 5 of the 6 clubs are in labour councils, so the labour party can withhold licences to host events.

They are completely against the ESL and Keir Starmer said he'd do 'everything he could' to prevent it from happening.
